We stayed as a family, taking the Terrace Room (double) and the Twin Room. A well hidden gem! Beautiful peaceful location with a lovely view across the valley. Our hosts were attentive & friendly. Breakfast was yummy and accommodated our varying diets including gluten free & vegetarian. We recommend a stay!

Good location, little out of village with great view, reasonable welcome, and satisfactory breakfast. The two double rooms looked good but twin at back was poor particularly as small shower and toilet room was not 'en suite' in strict sense; next door but coded room lock system caused problem in middle of night when I went for pee and bedroom door... I really liked this B&B despite not being a fan of B&B's generally. I had the Terrace Room which is a very good size, with a Terrace/balcony with a beautiful view overlooking the valley. The room & bathroom is excellently decorated, very clean and comfortable with modern furniture and fittings. And oh so quiet, did I mention the view from... More

Just had 3 fantastic nights at the b+b couldn't have wished for a better stay. If your looking for an easy going laid back not to formal stay this little gem is the one. We stayed Cheltenham festival week and had been quoted 3x the price that Richard charged. Value for money was excellent. And if you don't fall in... More

We stayed at this B&B as a last minute alternative to our usual inn, which was booked out for May's bank holiday weekend. We booked it just a day before the day we wanted to stay so didn't have much choice. And when we checked TripAdvisor some of the reviews of Tibbiwell Lodge made us worry. When we arrived, we... A cheap ,grubby B and B in an attractive Cotswold village.everything from decor to furniture was poor quality, doors and windows portly fitting, toilet seats wobbly !- I could go on! Breakfast was ridiculous!- how hard is it to provide a decent English breakfast?!- they managed not to!-sloshy tinned tomatoes, cheap pink pasty sausages and bacon cooked in a slab of rashers- forming... Booked and paid for in April, but not up to scratch in many ways. Hard to find no proper sinage and star rating sign propped up in the cupboard in the hall, is it still Valid? Having just spent the previous night at the Royal George Hotel in Birdlip for £59 B and B which we found to be excellent... More

I stayed here with my elderly mother for a week. Most other guests were there for one night only, as they were walking the Cotswolds Way, but this added to our holiday, as we got to hear lots of different tales. We stayed in the Balcony Room, which we would rate very highly, although it would probably be even better... More

We stayed here as part of our alk on the Cotswold Way. It was awful. Let me explain. We arrived on the Saturday night and were shattered after 18 miles on the route. We were "greeted" by one of the staff, who could not wait to get away from us, back to what she was doing. The bedroom doors have... More

My husband and I were walking the Cotswold Way, and needed somewhere close to the route, which also met our budget! Tibbiwell Lodge was only about a 5minute walk from the route, so perfect in that respect. Our hosts were very welcoming and accommodating - the dinner options were limited, being Easter Monday, and so we just got a takeaway... More
