The cheapest B&B in the area by a country mile and the best value too. The building and rooms are quite dated....very 1950's in décor but are immaculately clean and almost uniquely there is a guests lounge by the dining room. Ah...the dining room! Stand by for the biggest breakfast you ever ate! Alf and his folk really know how... More

I felt compelled to write a review of the campsite as I had read all bad on the lead up to our visit and therefore went with some dread. Yes, it's fair to say the facilities are basic, with only two toilets and one shower and one wash area, but my young family of four did not find this a... More

We were one of three families who stayed here for a camping get-together over the BH weekend. The booking process was clearly troublesome with the owners phoning us a couple of weekends earlier asking where we were?! Trying to explain we had definitely booked BH weekend, not one in April, was painful and didn't fill us with confidence. The large... More

Situated next to a hospital, the location is less to be desired. When we arrived the owner couldn't find our booking and looked at me as if I was some sort of criminal. Once our booking was found we were directed to our pitch and that was about it. We eventually found the shower block which was extremely basic and... More

Stayed here for one night with my partner in our Motorhome on 23rd March. Very basic site, no chemical disposal or waste water disposal. Very basic shower block consisting of 2 toilets and next to them one very old shower. This shower block had central heating installed but was never turned on. My partner did complain that it was cold,... More

Stayed for 4 nights last week - Sandra and Alf excellent hosts - gave sound advice on local pubs and restaurants - best breakfast for a long time - nice location 5 minutes from the town centre - you must ask about the best Indian restaurant in town (cant remember its name) ..........spot on!

Not only is this B&B the cheapest in town it's probably the best too. What a result! Purpose-built bedrooms with added en-suite facilities in a farmhouse and camping venue just South of the main town and within a ten minute walk of anywhere there . Huge full-English breakfasts with fruit and cereal provided as well. Unusually there is a small guests... More

We found this B&B to be just right for our needs. We began and ended a walking tour of the Cotswolds here. Great breakfast, and the coffee was very good, and the rooms quite comfortable. Alf picked us up at the train station at the start of our tour, and took us back when we were done. He kept our... More

We stayed one night at the last minute and Sandra could not have been more hospitable. Rooms have a range of unexpected comforts including toothpaste, moisturisers, bath gel etc. The breakfast was fantastic. The scrambled eggs - I could eat them every day for the rest of my life! My husband also greatly enjoyed his breakfast and our stay. It... More
