We had room 304, a good size bedroom and bathroom, nicely furnished plus a small garden with outdoor table and chairs. Despite the hotel being on a busy corner, the room is at the back of the hotel and was actually quiet; one could rarely hear the traffic. Breakfast was good with food cooked freshly as ordered; very nice fresh... More

Loved this hotel. Great charm and you can't beat the location. The building feels wonderfully historic, but not everyone will like that. The hallways are narrow and the floors are slanty - though I happen to find that charming! The rooms were clean, staff perfectly friendly and the food was great. The music in the restaurant/pub is a bit cheesy... More

When we booked our room we were aware that hotel fronted on busy road so we asked for a room at the rear away from the road noise, we were told we would be allocated a quiet rear room. However we were allocated a side room which is also on a busy road. To make matters worse the room was... More

Here are the pros: --Great location for seeing the Cotswolds. There are many beautiful villages within a very easy drive of Moreton-in-Marsh. --It's an interesting old building. --The LeNoir room was very nice! The double bath is amazing, as is the large shower in the bathroom, which had nice pressure and temperature controls. The room was vey clean and tastefully... More

The hotel had plenty of character in an ideal location to explore the area. The staff were very good and helpful. Enjoyed the snug bar in the evenings. The breakfasts were excellent and you had a good selection of choice. The only downside was our room was front facing on a very busy road and it was very hot . This... More

We booked this hotel for a number of us to stay here for two nights for a 70th birthday celebration. We took 6 rooms at the hotel. The garden room (which we stayed in) was lovely. This is a dog friendly room with a large garden but is the only hotel from that was able to accommodate children in the... More

Stayed here on a Saturday night purely because there was no vacancies anywhere else. The was one room left which was a four poster room. They charged £135 for night with breakfast included. The room was comfortable and huge but the four poster bed was disappointing. The curtains didn't go all the way round the bed, only just round to... More

Came here as part of a wedding party and was made to feel very welcome from the moment we stepped in through the door. The rooms are charming and comfortable, the bedroom was beautiful. I'm just sorry I didn't get to use the swimming pool sized bath!

The White Hart Royal is a lovely traditional hotel with a lot of character. We stayed in the Oxford garden room, perfect for us with our dog, and it surpassed all my expectations. The room is beautifully decorated, has everything needed and a fabulous spacious bathroom. We ate in the bar, I had the fillet of beef which was delicious,... More

Thank you for the comment I’m pleased you enjoyed yourselves. The Garden room is a fantastic room with lots a natural light and space with the added luxury of a private garden. I’m pleased that you ate with us and you enjoyed the dinner and your breakfast. We find most guests like to cook their own toast as they then... More

My son and daughter law got married in the white hart hotel on 30 August 2014. The staff at the hotel were wonderful and all the family and friends had a wonderful time. I would recommend this hotel as a lovely place to stay and also as an excellent venue for a wedding
