Found the hotel to be very good value for what you get in the Cotswolds. Check in a doddle, car park ample and room very spacious, with large bathroom and bath. Did a walk after lunch just down the road at the Horse and Groom which was fabulous. Had dinner on the Friday night here, excellent food, ribeye was perfect.... more

My husband and I stayed Easter week on a special offer rate, Bed breakfast and evening meal. The sevice was excemplory from a young team of staff and the room lovely (unable to book an 'old fashioned' in hotel room, ours was in the converted stable block. It was very pleasant, a little like staying in a cottage and we... more

We stayed here for four nights and thoroughly enjoyed the Redesdale Arms. Check in was efficient and our room-Kingham, 21, disabled adapted with excellent wet-room facilities was very comfortable with good room amenities. Also, complimentry tea/coffee making facilities together with a decanter of sherry and bottled mineral waters and biscuits throughout the stay. The room was always cleaned to a... more

We are reviewing JUST the restaurant. My husband and I chose to return to The Redesdale Arms Hotel for a second time with our mothers for Mother's Day lunch, the first being this time two years ago - and we were not disappointed! The hotel has its own car park which is reached by turning right at the mini roundabout... more

We've just returned from a three-night stay at this hotel, and we were so pleased we found it (in no small way because of TripAdvisor). The hotel is in a prime position on the main street of Moreton-in-Marsh. We had a room at the back converted from old outbuildings and it was delightful, containing absolutely everything you could require, including... more

This hotel is utterly charming. It's clearly a 3 star because of the constraints of an old building but in every other way it is truly 5 star. The room itself was average but it was very clean and with the complimentary refreshments including bottled water and sherry it was lifted to a higher level. The staff's customer service was... more

My partner and I stayed at the Redesdale for a couple nights from New Years Eve and on the whole it was a good 2 nights but I do have a couple of comments to make. Our room was an executive double at the back of the hotel, the room was clean and well decorated. The tv was a little... more

I am very glad that you had a good stay with us. Sorry if I seemed a bit distracted. We suffered terribly with staff sickness over the December / New Year period and as the manager had to cover all the gaps. It is not an excuse but I was totally exhausted, however I am very glad me remaining staff...

Overall, my stay would have been fine if it was not for an unfortunate incident made worse by incompetent barstaff and management. A bar person decided to move our jackets and drinks from a table in the bar whilst we were outside having a cigarette to make way for other customers, even though we had planned to have a meal... more

We remember this incident very well as we can not still quite believe how the guest reacted. As with all our restaurant guests we take an order in the lounge bar, whilst they are having a drink, then when the meal is ready we escort the guest into the restaurant. On this occasion “the only time in ten years I...

Redesdale Arms, Moreton in Marsh. In centre of village on A429 / A44-but don’t be put off thinking it may be very noisy. There are rooms in two new blocks at the rear of this old coaching inn that are in a quiet location and suffer no main road noise. (Can’t speak for any in the main building). Unlike the... more

We stayed in an executive family room, and it was fantastic. It had a seperate living room, bedroom (kingsize) and balcony, plus area for tea/coffee and fridge. All very clean. Also provided decanter of sherry and bottles of mineral water - very civilised! This is a great place to stay with young children (ours is a well-behaved age 4) because of... more
