I like the Resdale, although I haven't used the accommodation. The thing is, the prices have gone up by up to 20% recently, and no matter how tasty a steak at £25 and scampi and chips for nearly £14 is having a laugh. Noticed it was pretty empty a few Thursday evenings ago, and not pleasant with some manager sitting... More

We stayed in a new Delux / Mews Junior Suite in back off the courtyard. It was spacious, quiet, clean and the beds were comfortable. Restaurant featured regional fare sourced from local farms and our meals were well presented and very tasty. It is located in the heart of the finest old stone village I have ever seen yet it... We drew a spacious ground floor room with nicely remodeled bath. Nice touches included cookies, good wifi, and complimentary sherry. The bed was big but a bit sprung and the light tan carpet was a poor choice since we were adjacent to the parking lot and the carpet had gotten quite dirty. Our breakfast was included -- there is a... More

We were expecting more after reading the glowing reviews. Instead, we found our twin room rather run down and cramped. My sister and I are small people but found it a tight squeeze to get around the beds. Space is further limited by a chunky wardrobe and dresser dominating the tiny room. There was just one chair placed squashed in... More

We stayed 2 nights in June in a very nice attic room in the courtyard area of the hotel. A very quiet room well away from any roads with only a couple of doves to wake us up one morning. The food was good, we had a slightly shortened menu as we were part of a large group, but adequate... More

Good comfortable spacious accom in rear suite. Moreton in Marsh is a pleasant market town in Cotswolds and is not a tourist trap like some nearby places. It is very handy by train to Oxford, London & the West incl. Wales.

We stayed last weekend for 2 nights in Room 18. We were very pleased with our room in the court yard area, it was spacious with a living area and a jacuzzi bath in the bathroom. Our room was clean and our bed was comfortable. We were pleased with the extra touches such as the bottled water, decanter of sherry... More

Four of us stayed for three nights and were very pleased with our choice of hotel. Food at both breakfast and dinner was very good and nicely presented by friendly restaurant staff. We had booked deluxe rooms which were in the courtyard at the rear and there was no noise, apart from the birds singing in the morning. Our only... More

From the lovely, well-appointed rooms and large bath to the first class restaurant this hotel exceeded our expectations. The staff at checking and in the restaurant were friendly and helpful. Probably the best restaurant service we got in England outside of a famous place in London. We had both dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and both were well above... More

Very good three star hotel in the perfect spot for travelling the Cotswolds. Rooms were clean, tidy, spacious with an excellent bath and very hot water. Staff were great, attentive, friendly and efficient. The food in both the restaurant and the pub bar were excellent. Lovely lamb shank and well cooked fish an chips. In short, for the money the...
