I Booked The Apple Cottage Suite as a romantic birthday treat for my partner. I couldn't find any pictures at all on the internet but we weren't disappointed. It is situated at the bottom of the hotels beautiful gardens yet close enough not to feel isolated. They have thought of every luxury and is well worth it for a special... more

I can't understand how this hotel is getting such good reviews. We checked into room 25 (up the stairs, along the hall, up the stairs, down another hall, up the stairs etc). It was unbelievably hot. Inhumane actually. Just tiny windows and no air conditioning. The room was "cute" and the bathroom lovely but for the price you pay, it's... more

We recently stayed at the Manor House for a short mid-week break. We have had several short breaks here over the years and the hotel has improved with time (but the plumbing and heating have not!). On the positive side, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the public rooms, restaurant, bar and gardens are all excellent, and the bedrooms... more

I have read lots of reviews about this hotel but none feature Apple Cottage so had to register just to add my own. After a lengthy search for somewhere romantic to take my girlfriend on her birthday I stumbled across Apple Cottage in the Manor House Hotel. I won’t waste time commenting about the hotel, although it is excellent, especially... more

I had already viewed several reviews before booking and overall the rooms, reception and brasserie were as described. Unfortunately the Mulberey was also as described.....poor. Checking in was fine, our room (45) was small but delivered on all expectations and the cream tea also did the same. We had dinner included on both nights and on the first evening we... more

Just returned from spending 5 days at the Manor House. The garden is really beautiful! When booking the hotel I had asked for a room away from the High Street as I had read the traffic noise on the main street was loud at night. Regret that we were put in a room facing High Street and told it was... more

Recently six members of our family spent five days at the Manor Hotel. Our review must be indeed a mixed bag. First, the good news. The food and service in both the Mulberry Room and the Brasserie were excellent. Breakfast choices provided a great way to start the day, and the servers were most efficient and pleasant. Service at the... more

Stayed for a two-night Food-Lovers break and can highly recommend this hotel for the quality of accomodation, food etc. The staff are a credit to the hotel, being friendly and very efficient. We had a 4-poster overlooking the rear gardens and so the room was quiet and peaceful. The hotel is situated on a busy road through Moreton-on-Marsh which is... more

Well words escape me, what a wonderful hotel, and breakfast, made to order, all freshly cooked and not an ounce of fat in site, the dippy eggs, you have to try them. Beautiful surroundings, we had a standard room, nothing wrong with it,nice clean bed clean bathroom, cant fault it. Just don't stay anywhere else, you get what you pay... more

Have just returned from the Manor House Hotel and deservedly they need praising. We had just an overnight stay for my birthday treat but wish we had stayed longer. The service and attention to detail was second to none, not to mention the super dinner in the Mulberry restaurant last evening. All in all a definite place to stay if... more
