We stayed one might for a wedding in Cirencester and the staff could not have been more helpful. Our stay got off to a good start when they had the room ready for us nice and early so we could check in change early. Parking in their garden we didn't relise how lucky we were with the parking until we... More

Try eating at this unpretentions restaurant for a superb experience. We had our annual Valentine's dinner here this year. They did not do a special menu, with all the razzmatazz of red roses, etc. Instead, we ate the best venison steak you are ever likely to eat anywhere. Cooked to perfection - succulent, tender, fresh, (local produce), rich in flavour.... More

We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay at this hotel. The hotel itself is really pretty, situated in a quiet street but only a 5 minute walk from the town centre. All the staff were very polite and attentive, and we loved the way they multi-tasked (we saw the chef mowing the lawn after breakfast!). We paid a very... More

The Corinium hotel, particularly the pub/lounge area, oozes country charm. Our room, #11 was spacious, tidy and featured a cute bay window. Its one downside was that it was over the pub, making it a little noisy. Breakfast was tasty. The service was uniformly polite and friendly. More

We arrived quite late in the evening, but despite that, were given a warm welcome and a table for dinner. We'd chosen the four-poster bed option, but be warned, it's on the second floor up some very steep and narrow steps. We had a drink in the bar, which has a good range of local ales, then into the restaurant.... More

Arrived early evening with my boyfriend in which he planned for us to have a four poster bedroom. We got taken up to our room and walked in on a couple who had already been given the room. A mess up with the names- my boyfriend and the other chap shared the same name. We then got taken to another... More

Many thanks for your kind comments about the hotel and Margaret. I was pleased that you enjoyed your stay overall, apart from your disappointment over the four-poster. Unfortunately, a double room was actually booked online and I note your boyfriend had only requested a four-poster if available. Both were however already booked. We do hope to welcome you back in... Arrived late 9.50pm and was checked in, no worries, by Andy the Bar manager. Set off to wander into town in the drizzle, got 100 yards and came back. Couple of good cask ales and log fire going, had a nice chat with well travelled Andy and asked him about any ghosts you might find in such a 16th century?... More

Extremely friendly and competent staff and the hotel is housed in a lovely building, walking distance to the centre of Cirencester. We had the best room (room 12), which was gorgeous but unfortunately this room gets very noisy when there is a party in the main part of the building. More

A mix of old world Cotswold charm, and in places modern renovation gives you an ideal hotel to explore the region. We stayed for one night only, after a Xmas Party night. Room #2 that were booked into was spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. The compact shower room was to die for...one of the few hotels that I have stayed... More

This is a lovely Hotel if you want somewhere with character rather than a large corporate impersonal chain Hotel. Our room was at the top of the Hotel up a rather steep narrow staircase. This may be a problem if you have mobility problems so mention this when booking. I loved our little room. It had real character and I felt... More
