My partner and I stayed here as we were in Cirencester for a wedding. We decided to stay here as we were only staying for two nights and it was cheap. We read the reviews before booking and even though most were poor or terrible, we thought perhaps people were just being picky. But oh how wrong we were! Neither... More

We used this hotel as an overnight stop on a cycling weekend.Having cycled 50 miles, we only really needed a decent bed to rest our weary legs. The Riverside provided just that....comfortable bed, decent bedding, nice temperature in the rooms and a quiet location. The breakfast was also ace - all you could eat and freshly cooked. The reason I... More

I arrived about 10.30pm having to collect my key from the security guard on the entrance gate. There was no one else about to show me around and I eventually found my room. It was disgusting. Carpet and headboard stained, hairs on the bathroom floor, shower and soap dish, thick black mould in the shower, water damaged plaster and black... More

We spent a Saturday night here in early July for a friends evening wedding party I would never use it at a weekend as it was a ghost town it may be OK during the week as a training hotel but letting rooms at weekend does not work as there are no staff no facilities apart from the breakfast lady... Room size was fine - seems a bit like a nursing home, but actually its the Mitsubishi training facilities - instructions given in laminated plastic sheets for the bathroom and the amenities - the rooms are very clean but basic. The river ( giving the name of the establishment) is more of a rivulet in a concrete storm drain. The... More

Have stayed here a couple of times and always enjoyed ourselves. Rooms are comfy and have all the basic comforts, although twin room we had, it was obvious that one bed was slept in more than other, and could do with a new mattress. We only stay one night at a time, but our vehicles were safe and secure, thanks... More

Large good room, all the facilities you need in the room. The place is a bit basic but is very functional.. A good place for a buisness overnight. I would not recommend this for anything other than buisness .

I stay here fairly frequently with work and always feel looked after. The rooms are similar to what you'd find in a most conference centres/hotels being basic but clean and comfortable. The breakfast is good although I have never eaten there in the evening as the town centre is close with lots of options. The Welsh lady who works here... More

After reading some of the negative reviews for Riverside House we arrived with some trepidation expecting it to be right in the middle of a trading estate. What we found was a modern training centre at the side of the Colt Car Company at the very end of Watermoor Road. The car park was inside the security gate as was... More
