The Apsley is very well located for the centre of town, being just 5 minutes walk. The owners are very welcoming and helpful. We were given the choice of room 1 on the ground floor, or room 6 on the 3rd floor. She Who Must Be Obeyed (SWMBO) chose room 6; she doesn't carry the bags! It's a nice room... More

Stayed here for two nights to attend a wedding. It was in an ideal location and Bob was very welcoming however, the room smelled awful and were even warned of this by Bob on arrival. He said he didn't know why yet we were offered no discount. I could actually smell it on my clothes during the wedding! The lighting... More

The house is near the center, the owner is very nice. it is clean. The size of the room was OK, but it needs a renovation, specially the bathroom (really narrow), the temperature regulator of the shower worked really bad, and the water pressure was very low. The breakfast was normal.

What a super experience we had at Apsley Villa Guest House. My wife and I stayed for a night but we wish we could have stayed longer. Bob and Natalie made us feel like part of the family. Wonderful room so peaceful and quiet. What can I say about the breakfast, simply the best I've ever had. We definitely will... More

Myself and my partner came to stay here all the way from Dawlish Devon as we were visiting family. From the moment we arrived the owners were so friendly and welcoming, they took us to our room which we think was lovely. It was clean and tidy, the beds were made up beautifully and there was free tea and coffee in... More

This is the 2nd time I stayed here. I was surprised that the owner of 30 years, Bob, remembered me and some details of my last stay 4 years ago. The place is very clean. Th wifi is free and it works well. The room is comfortable though I wish the pillows are a bit more puffy. The new shower,... More

Myself and my family took a trip to the Cotswold a few weeks ago and had a superb stay in a very cosy, very homely B & B. Our hosts Bob and Natalie made our stay very enjoyable and nothing was too much trouble, they went out of their way to ensure our stay was very pleasant. The 2 bedroom... More

We were welcomed to the B&B by Bob, an affable B&B host who also gave us some tips on where to explore within Cotswolds. Our room was tidy and cozy. The floors were carpeted ( including the bathroom) but felt clean. Water pressure from the shower was very weak and took us 3 x as long to shower. This might... More
