Stayed in this lovely hotel as we were attending a family wedding. As a result we did not spend too much time in the hotel but we cannot fault them. The rooms were lovely and the staff were very friendly. Very central location with parking close by at the rear. Not suitable if you have mobility problems though.

Nice room, lovely shower. The breakfast and service was excellent. The only criticism was the room temperautre. I accept it was an incredibly hot week but i only had a small fan by my bed. For over a £100 a night you expect aircon.

Thanks for the lovely comments, the rooms have been a little bit on the warm side this week but due to the nature of an old listed building air conditioning is not a viable option. Although I'm sure the staff would love to have it as well. More

Nice breakfast and nice sheets but otherwise I think the photography is very flattering. Our room was tiny with a shower room only big enough to fit one in at a time. It looked straight into other windows so no privacy or view and the kitchen extractor fans belted away outside our window sounding like a continuous airplane. At £117... More

Cirencester a lovely town with an abundance of places to eat. A little spoilt for choice but we opted for The Fleece hotel which is towards the end of the pretty high street. Really nice decor - apparently revamped a few years ago -and a smarter feel at the back of the restaurant compared to more of a bar feel... More

I have regular meetings in Cirencester however this was the first time I'd stayed here. It's in a great location in the centre of the town with good parking. The bar and restaurants are busy with tasteful decor and lots of staff to look after you. The beer was not great so we ended up drinking elsewhere. I checked in... More

My wife and I stayed at the Fleece for two nights recently with two friends on a b&b basis. Overall it was a very pleasant experience, check in was efficient and friendly and we were pleased with our rooms on the second floor overlooking the square. Rooms were clean and comfortable if a little on the small side. There was... More

Really nice room and pub/restaurant. The staff let this place down, they all looked so miserable. Stayed in a room on the top floor (no lift) facing the main street so was a little noisy but nothing too bad, décor was good and the room was clean. Breakfast was OK but the service was poor. The waitress did not listen... More

This is a great value hotel/B&B. The room was clean and obviously well looked after and recently decorated. Great location in the middle of town. There are several parking spaces around the back of the hotel and we had no problem getting a space. Breakfast was especially good - well cooked and a good selection.

The room was a great value for money and is in a central location. But we had fairly cold service in the restaurant (however a warm greeting from a young guy when checking in) and the ploughman's board was terrible and overpriced. Again, poor service at breakfast. The server never cleaned the table - all the tables were dirty -... More
