I was at the Fleece on business and found the whole experience to be a pleasant one. My colleague recommends the Monkey Shoulder, however his head didn't the following morning. The food was excellent and the ambience was also excellent. I would highly recommend The Fleece any time.

Stayed Wednesday and Thursday last week in August and from the moment we checked in until we left we had the most wonderful time. The rooms (1,11,23) were megasize and beautifully decorated and had everything you could think of to make your stay comfortable. The beds were enormous and mine could have easily slept 4. As i was on my... More

Good food but a little normal run of the mill. Overpriced. Service was great. Waitress very attentive. Saw the head chef out in the car park in his dirty apron, smoking and picking his nose. Put me off I'm afraid. Needs to a little slicker to reflect the prices.

Attention to detail second to none. Fabulous spacious room for 4. Breakfast was beautiful. Bar was lovely, with a gorgeous courtyard. Highly recommended. Cirencester is a beautiful town with many independent shops and cafés.

Staying at the Fleece Inn has lived up to my expectations - the staff, food and accomodation were first class! Having breakfast in the bar room is an unique experience. Here there is a choice of either a cold buffet, or breakfast grill. I opted for a bowl of fruit salad, scrambled eggs on toast and a pot of tea.... More

Lunch for three in the main restaurant exceeded our expectations. The service was first rate and Siobhan, our server, was very attentive. We ordered the Brixham crab, the risotto, the fish of the day (hake), followed by creme brûlée and cherry pie - and a bottle of shiraz. Every dish was superb. We all agreed it was a fantastic lunch... More

As we live in Cirencester we use the Fleece often. We have always found the food and the service to be very good, especially the food, we have never had a bad meal. The meals are plenty and good quality. The interior was refurbished a couple of years ago and it was done to a high standard and within the... More

We were recommended the hotel by Ingleside House as we had our wedding booked there, we booked out about 21 rooms in Mar/April time and told that when we leave our wedding venue we would then be able to use the bar at the Fleece until 1am if we wanted. We had checked the bookings a week before the wedding,... More

After arriving at cirencester for our weekend away we decided to try The Fleece for lunch, it was particularly busy but we managed to get a table and was told by the waitress it was table service and someone would be over to us shortly. After receiving the menu quite quickly nobody had been to take our drinks order. After... More
