This was my third visit. I stayed for two nights in June 2015 during the ukulele festival. The room was large and comfortable. Plenty of soft towels. Bedding, toiletries and tea/coffee facilities were basic but everything was spotlessly clean. The shagpile curtains (yes, really!) are looking a little 'tired' and the quirky colour scheme may not be to everyone's taste.... More

So I stayed here for one night on business and first off, GET THERE DAMN QUICK if you want a parking space, there's only 10!!!! Worse still some people think it funny to park over two as their very narrow and the reception don't care. Its located in the town centre which is a bonus but that's about as far... More

This hotel is excellent if going to the Town Hall for a concert. All the reception staff we met were very friendly and helpful - thank you to Malc, Simon and Danny - all an asset to the Hotel. We stayed in a disabled room which had a large double bed and a single bed. As others have said -... More

As others have stated, the location in central Cheltenham is very good. However, the rooms and decor are poor - think old university hall of residence. Flaking paint, dirty window fittings. Clearly corners have been cut on furnishings and building materials to keep price low, but still, customers deserve more nowadays.

I thought the photos of this hotel made it look clean, fresh & smart. In fact it was grubby, tired & actually quite dirty. Reception staff & check in were great, friendly & helpful. Location wise fabulous for central Cheltenham. The room though was very tired, awful wooly curtains, stained towels, very low bed. It was very warm too &... More

We stayed here for a hen do and found it very reasonably priced for the area, clean and to our sunrise a good choice (both hot and cold) for breakfast. This place is not going to wow anyone but if you need somewhere clean and central to stay in Cheltenham you can't really go wrong here. Staff wee also very... More

A nice hotel but needs a bit of updating. Very central which was great. No air con or ventilation so you have to open the windows. Very, very load music from local club and party goes until the early hours of the morning so dont count on getting any decent night sleep regardless if you have a street facing room... More

Very good location for this hotel. Ideal for one night stay. Room was very nice clean. Not sure about the shaggy curtains and plinth under the bed, certainly an required tasted needed. Very clean Moden hotel. Lack of parking in their car park. It was better than expected. Breakfast was better than expected. Really good looking food.

This is to our normal style of hotel, but we wanted somewhere to stay in Cheltenham so that we could attend the food festival - all our normal style hotels were booked. This is a well positioned hotel, modern, clean and a good place to stay. The rooms are on the large side, clean and tidy, yes they are basic... More

The rooms are huge with 4 individual beds although I only book a room for 3. The beds are comfortable and we had a good rest after spending 4 tiring days exploring London. The staff are friendly. The breakfast is English style with toast, cereals, sausage, bake beans, hash browns, tea, coffee, fruit juice, milk and fruits.
