I can't really overstate how good this hotel is. My first visit to Cheltenham, and hotel is about a 15 minute walk from centre. Very welcoming and, although I had booked a single, got a very nice double. Nicely furnished room, with tea, coffee etc. Only minor point was that there was no satellite TV, but this is being really picky!!

Excellent full English breakfast - I mentioned I liked Black Pudding the evening before, and the owner went to get some locally for me! Bacon and sausage both sourced locally apparently as well.

This is what a good, small family run hotel should be like.

Shame is, I have never come across that many!!
