We felt welcomed and felt comfortable. Good breakfast. Would come again. Thank you. Having mugs in room was good. Shower rather small for more plump and mature people other wise a good stay thank you. Loved the private gallery of lovely art

Stayed here for one night on a visit to Cheltenham . Booked before I read the reviews on here. So upon arrival we were apprehensive! Need not of been. Beautiful house set on a corner plot on a quiet residential road. Easy parking. Warm friendly greeting by the gentlemen owner. We stayed in the African themed road in the attic... More

Stayed here bank holiday weekend - Cheltenham Jazz Festival so very busy. Parking was easy all free on road adjoining. Room was what we wanted - clean and a comfy bed. Good breakfast in the morning. Reasonable price so all in all good value for money. We would stay there again.

We stopped here last night en route to visiting relatives and had a good welcome and also a very good breakfast this morning. The room was adequate but cold for quite sometime even though the heating had just kicked in on arrival. Decor a little tired although room was attractive with many pictures/paintings but the beds were not the most... More

I have family in Cheltenham and over the years have stayed at the Cheltenham Guest House with my wife when we visit. The place does have a number of positives: we like to support local business rather than inter/national chains, it’s situated close to relatives, there’s always room when we book, and we only stay for one night at a... We stayed in this guest house on a Saturday night. I have read in previous reviews that the welcome is not friendly but this was not our experience. .. found landlady polite and businesslike. .. room was great. .. big tv. . Amazing shower. . Yes sink in bedroom but that's not a problem. Liked the touch of a couple... More

I was relieved to see in the below reviews that the landlady had nothing against me personally, she is just very unwelcoming to everybody. She would have an fitting personality for a truck driver, but running a B&B requires way too much interaction for her. Her husband was a bit better at least. The guest house itself was better but... Upon arrival to this b&b we immediately felt awkward and as if we were inconveniencing the owners. I have stayed in several bed and breakfasts and this is he absolute first time I felt uncomfortable talking with the owners. The rooms are average at best, but sufficient. It was suitable for a night but I don't think I would've been... More

Our experience bears no comparison to the unfavourable reviews below. I found the owners to be friendly, helpful and accommodating. The guesthouse is situated in a quiet road within 15-20 minutes walk of the town centre. You enter though a delightful garden which would have been a pleasure to sit out in had the weather permitted. My themed room was... More
