This is a hard one to rate. We arrived after a long leg of the Cotswold Way and were given a big room with so-so decor (room 3), with our own private WC and shower rooms a flight of stars away. The toilet had obviously been used and not cleaned properly; as the toilet seat did not stay up I... More

We arrived late afternoon after a long climb up Cleeve Common on The Cotswold Way. My daughter and I were warmly welcomed and shown to a lovely room at the front of the house with the most amazing views. Plenty of room here with a good sized ensuite with shower over bath. The hosts were lovely and happily made us... More

Fantastic bed and breakfast accommodation that has amazing views down across towards Cheltenham. The breakfast was really good and the staff were great. The rooms are of a good standard. However not all the rooms have showers so best to check. The best rooms are at the front of the property with the views. The road outside can be quite... More

For anyone walking the Cotswold Way this is a good stop. The room was big and comfortable. Views were great. Not enough water pressure at night to flush the toilet. I agree with another reviewer/hiking that a sign on their back gate would have been helpful. The owners were wonderful and very helpful.

This hotel is in a fab location, on top of a hill from where one can view glorious sunrise and sunset, with a birds eye view of Cheltenham. This is a family run property, very nicely done comfortable rooms, with a great view, pleasant gardens and on the back of it one can see a hill which one can climb... More

We recently walked the Cotswold Way and stayed one night here. Our room was on the top floor and had expansive views over the valley below. The room was very spacious. Backing onto the Cotswold Way, the location was perfect. One suggestion that would be helpful to walkers would be a sign on their back gate with the name of... More

The location was superb and the overall ambiance and quality was great. But as far as the hotel charging the rates they are, twin room with bathroom along corridor, at £80 was ott. The shower door was dodgy, the television in the room could only get about five channels, to secure the door on the shower room a door wedge... More

The location alone would justify giving this hotel a 5-star rating, with stunning views from the front and the Cotswold Way right behind. But add the warm, friendly reception from owners Manfred and Jackie and no other rating would come close. Then there's the spacious, comfortable rooms and the superb freshly-cooked breakfast. I've stayed here may times in the past... More

stayed a night here while walking the Cotswolds Way. Owners booked us a meal at a local restaurant which served good food. Rooms comfortable and breakfast just right for another day on the walk. Hotel is a few minutes off the Cotswolds Way and not too far for trip into Cheltenham if time allows.
