overnight stay in top floor room ( 2) with amazing views of Bishop Cleeve and beyond....although climb up 2 sets of stairs is not for everyone, as is climb up to main entrance. Great spacious room with 2 sitting chairs which is nice if you don't enjoy lying on a bed Lovely, warm, walker friendly welcome from Jackie. Beware that... More

Sometimes, the 'good' reviews backfire - nice place to stay, pleasant hosts, well situated as well. We were the only guests in the hotel on a Saturday night, and with such glowing reviews, why only one dressing gown in the room, only one set of towels - asked for more fresh milk in a jug to make early morning cup... We come to Festival in march every year, we stay here every year, the accomodation is everything you would expect from a hotel guest house and more. Manfred and Jacqueline are superb hosts. The Breakfasts too are great . If your planning to stay in the Cheltenham area then you would lose out if you didnt try here.

I needed an overnight stay midweek as I was in Cheltenham on business. The reviews for Cleeve Hill House looked good so I contacted the owners by email. I explained I did not know the area and had just started a new job, but I hoped to be with them between 5-6pm. I was running late so at about 6.15pm... More

My wife and I were the only guests. We stayed one night, in room 8, which I would guess is the best room - spacious, comfortable and with a superb view (weather permitting); not noisy despite looking out over a busy road. The full range of foods was laid out for us at breakfast-time; we would have been happy if... More

This small, friendly hotel has the perfect location. A short taxi ride from Cheltenham but also on the Cotswolds Way. I can't praise it enough. I will stay there again, very soon. I stayed there just because of its location but the welcome, food and standard of accommodation all surpassed my expectations.

Cleeve Hill House is an excellent B&B from which to explore the rest of the Cotswolds. It is not particularly central, but that also means that rates are significantly lower than say in Bourton. It's not far from Cheltenham where other food establishments can be had. Breakfast was great and the view memorable. There's free parking but the lot will... More

I stayed in 9 places during my Cotswold Way walk, and this was the best place I stayed on my Cotswold Way walk. The proprietress was charming, the room had a great view, bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was outstanding. The bathroom and shower were a nice size as well, and the decor was also very charming.

Consider Cleeve Hill House Hotel a B&B. We arrived a 1/2 day early but were received with a very warm welcome by the proprietor, Jackie. The room was large and comfortable with a beautiful view of the rolling hills. Breakfast was delicious and made-to-order. We did all our touring of the Cotswolds from here and even decided to stay an... More
