The building is very attractive from the front and the car parking is situated mainly at the rear. The welcome we received was excellent and all the staff were friendly and positive. The highlight of the stay was the cooked breakfast. The cereals, yogurts, fruit was fine but the freshly prepared ordered food was extremely tasty. Very good scrambled egg... More

When I decided to book a couple of days at Cheltenham races as a present for my partner I was looking for somewhere to stay that was close to the races while not far away from town, offered good value and looked like a nice place to stay. Cheltenham townhouse ticks all the boxes and more. Set in a very... More

Stayed recently with my Husband for a one night stay. The hotel is very nice, small and charming. Very quiet and ideally situated to walk to Cheltenham races (12-15 min walk) and the same again to walk into the town. Friendly owners, nice airy rooms. Very clean and nice touches such as cotton wool pads and tips in room. Comfy... More

We stayed here for a few days earlier this month. This is a lovely building and much better viewed from the front, than back! We chose a superior room and sadly the view was of a number of car parks. However, the staff were first rate and were helpful friendly and charming. Breakfast was very good, well cooked and well-presented,... More

Recently stayed at The Cheltenham Townhouse for a week long visit. Greeted early in the morning after a long drive by a friendly night porter who showed me promptly to my room. First impressions were extremely clean and very homely. The bed was comfortable and room was quiet as it backed onto the back entrance. Room had all expected amenities... More

Clean, comfortable rooms. Breakfast good and good value. One down side is parking and hotels lack of enough permits. The owners seriously must sort this out. Kitchen was above my room. Footsteps very early, very persistent and noisy.. i sleep deeply!! Let the relaxed lie plan down alot! Lounge and honesty bar a real plus!

Stayed in Cheltenham townhouse hotel, easy to find in a lovely tree lined avenue. Parking outside with parking permit provided free of charge. Lovely entrance, very good greeting from receptionist, showed us around lounge area and up to our room on the first floor overlooking back car park and other building, nice and light and airy, good size, flat tv... Stayed here just for 1 night as attending a wedding evening reception at Pittville Pump room nearby. On arrival we were shown round and then taken to our room. Room was clean and large and met our expectations. We had a good nights sleep, the hotel remained quiet throughout the night. Breakfast was excellent, fresh and served hot. Will definitely... More

I don't normally comment for a second time on a hotel/restaurant on Trip Advisor, especially when the first review is excellent, and the second follows in the same vein. However, this hotel deserves the acclaim as on both occasions (the first as a couple, this one in a party of 12) everything about this hotel is of the highest standard.... More

This is a lovely hotel in a nice quiet location, within easy walking distance of the centre of town. The room we were in was delightful if a little small, the ensuite was very small but was clean, the over bath shower proved quite difficult to regulate. Beds and bedding of a very good standard, clean and comfortable. I now... More
