This is an absolutely ideal place for a lone traveller. Very warm welcome and comfortable room. They offer snacks in the evening for lone travellers which is ideal - eating by yourself in restaurants can get very dull, and I much preferred the lovely fresh sandwich delivered to my room. Had a perfect stay at Abbey Hotel! Greg, the proprietor, is a very kind guy. Room, bathroom, TV, it was all OK. Breakfast was marvellous! For my next stay in Cheltenham I certainly will book again. No reason to search for another place for the night. more

Made to feel very welcome on arrival. Rooms bright and clean, very comfortable bed. Bathrooms gleaming and spotless, although shower cubicle a bit small. Breakfast was very well prepared using good quality produce. Less than five minutes walk from the town centre. Will definately stay again. more
