Enjoyed a relaxing weekend fabulous views from our window. Good quality food and excellent service every member of staff polite and helpful. Spacious car park. Room and bathroom clean lots of character and very good value for money. Will definately return more

The room was quite good, with bay window looking out over Bishops Cleeve and across to Wales. The staff were pleasant and restaurant meal good. The breakfast menu was excellent. Overall, reasonable value at £90 for one night. more

Arrived at Rising Sun tired and hungry after long journey on motorway. No staff in Reception. Had to use telephone in Reception to summon staff. Very comfortable, clean room. Very friendly and efficient staff and management. Great food and spectacular views. Award winning pub on the premises is a real bonus, serving real ales and wide range of meals. We take a lot of short breaks in England and this is one of the best hotels we've visited. more
