We received a lovely welcome from the owner who gave us loads of info about where to eat locally and a parking permit which was helpful. The room was clean and tidy, but needed a bit of updating as it has quite old fashioned furniture and wallpaper. The four poster bed was comfortable, but it felt like the mattress had... More

Never been to Cheltenham before, thought I would bring my sister here on a visit from Oz and did not regret it. Hospitality was great and the rooms where very neat and comfortable.. Situated in a lovely street with just a short walk to the city and restaurants. Definitely coming back later in the year.

We were looking for a hotel for our wedding guests to stay at, close to the Pittville pump room. Came across this hotel and we thought it was worth a try, the front door was locked to start with. After ringing the doorbell the hotel manager (I assume) answered the door with a rather bizarre look and stated "Are you... More

I can't say what it's like to stay here as I didn't get that far. I phoned on Saturday to get prices and book a single room. There was no reply so I left a message. Within a couple of minutes I was called back. The lady I spoke to gave me prices of £55, £50 and £45 for the... More

This was a lovely, comfortable guest house. It is is a good location to visit the town and Pittville Pump Room, although it is a little far from the railway station. My room was decorated and adorned with beautiful drapes which helped to create a relaxing atmosphere. There was ample coffee and tea plus a t.v. with a clear picture.... More

I found the booking process a bit shambolic to say the least. Despite having had phone conversations and e-mails confirming the booking, when we arrived we were told that the room had not been reserved. Anyway, we did get a room as they weren't fully booked. The room was a bit cluttered with furniture for our liking, and the bathroom... More

I realise that other guests may have enjoyed their stay here but I find it hard to see why as I would say that this is one of the least friendly places I have ever stayed! My experience included: blunt, one line emails relating to the booking; a chase up phone call on the day of my arrival (despite being... More

We Stopped here for a night in Cheltenham as it was veggie friendly, we were close to the centre so we could walk for an evenings nightlife and close to the Cotswolds for a day out.. but the guesthouse was amazing!! We stayed in a beautiful room with a large comfortable four poster bed, which was incredibly romantic. The Guest... More

We found this guest house through late rooms.com. The place is very much in the middle of Cheltenham town centre and Cheltenham racecourse. We booked room 8 that my wife was pleased about because it contained a four poster bed. The place was very tidy and clean. The breakfast served was vegertarian which at first we were a little worried... More
