...and the hotel is well-run and spotless clean. Let alone in a great location and with a great atmosphere. The whole experience is very close to staying at your own private house and being taken care of professionally.

One night at the Lypiatt, and I would happily go again. Comfortable rooms, very clean bathrooms (my bette noir!), a nice breakfast and excellent help from the manager. Thanks for making our stay run smoothly Jeff. What a nice man!

I would strongly recommend this hotel for short stay. Beautifully kept, good service and very comfy bed. Great location too for Montpellier. We would definitely go back. The hotel has just been purchased and the owner was there to look after us.

Really close to Montpellier. Really friendly new owners so ignore previous reviews as they have left. Lovely, clean, stylish hotel. Gorgeous breakfast. Parking on site. Gorgeous bath in ground floor room.

My daughter and I stayed at Lypiatt House on 28th February 2015, we were welcomed and introduced to the guest house upon arrival and immediately felt at ease. Our room, Andover, was beautiful, clean and every electrical item worked. The bathroom was spacious with warm fluffy towels and plenty of hot water. The location is easy to find and a... More

We stayed at this hotel on a Sunday night, following a friend's recommendation. Easy to find, and safe parking (always a necessity with our cars). Lovely old converted Gerogian house; we had been staying away the previous night, so had opted for one of the cheaper (smaller) bedrooms - this was at the top of the house, but perfrectly clean... The couple are either both mad or don't like people or both We have never been so shocked in our lives by our arrival and departure Rude aggressive and clearly don't like each other either Not pleasant Shame as hotel itself and breakfast were great

My husband booked a night for us as a treat for me. We stayed one Saturday night in august. I am not sure about the negative comments about the gentleman owner he was great....made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was beautiful and we were told as soon as we sat down that there would be a bit of a wait... More

Lypiatt House is a small hotel with a very personal service. . The room was quite large and comfortable, decorated and furnished to a good standard in traditional rather than modern style. Those who like that style and sometimes find new hotels sterile will probably love it. The bathroom (for my room at least) was large and modern Breakfast: good... More
