We looked at a venue for a weekend break which was easy for my elderly in-laws to travel to by rail. We chose the Thistle Cheltenham Hotel. We were very impressed with our short stay from arrival to depature. The staff were pleasant and obliging and i must single out the restaraunt manager and the young chap behind the bar.... more

Great hotel and location - only a 5 minute walk to bus stop and 10 minutes max to park and ride. All staff very friendly and room EXCATLY the same as the one on their website. We stayed at the Thistle for Fri and Sat night. We had a great time and the staff could not do any more for you. Hotel food was a very good standard, especially the dinner ! Would reccomend to anyone and will deffinatly make the trip up the the Thistle Chelt again. more

A particularly nice touch was that our wedding anniversary was acknowledged with a welcome when we arrived. The hotel is well situated on the west edge of Cheltenham for easy access to the town and area, being very near the M5. Car parking is adequate. The rooms are a reasonable size but very short of drawer space; for the overnight business traveller it is marginally adequate but couples and families may find they have to live out... more

We stayed at Thistle hotel when visiting friends in the Cheltenham area.
