We were upgraded to a top floor room, with poster bed and double ended spa bath, great! The room was large clean and in good period decor in the bedroom. The bathroom was large with separate shower. No tea tray included, but it is on their website. The lounge and bar as well as the patio were all well presented. The service... More

Stayed at THE HOTEL with a kgb deal, on booking we were told there were no standard rooms so we paid £50 for an upgrade. On arrival the hotel looked very modern, the young chap who booked us in was really pleasant and helpful. The room Isac Stracan was on the top floor and looked a little tired the bathroom... More

My husband and I stayed here for a Fri and Sat night of the bank holiday on a KGB deal. We had originally booked in January but were unable to travel because of the weather - I have to say, the staff were so pleasant at that time and were extremely helpful and patient with us trying to rebook it.... mixture of reviews and upon hearing of pending receivership of this hotel felt on the cautious side. With only 3 cars in the small car park we parked easily for our two night stay. Black marble entrance and sparkling glass doors, to the left was an attractive sitting area, tastefully furnished with blue lit bar area alongside. Opposite was a... More

i booked this hotel through a deal on KGB for my birthday as we love the Cotswolds and thought we would try a different base for our stay. We were due to stay 20th/21th June which is a Thurs/Fri as they said they had a wedding that weekend and we could not stay the Saturday. On Monday 15th April I... More

Had booked this hotel for 2 night break with a KGB deal in June 2012 for a stay in early May this year to visit our grandson for his birthday. On Friday received a telephone call to say that they had to cancel the booking as they ceased trading, and to contact KGB for a refund, no apology. Today Monday... More

Very impressed with the public areas of the hotel. Lovely decor and furnishings. We arrived early at 11:30 and as our room was ready we were able to check in, unpack and enjoy our first day. Our twin room, The William Clifford, was spacious, clean and individually decorated. The beds were extremely comfortable and we had lovely soft towels and... More

In September (2012) I was made aware of a 'KGB' offer (2 nights accommodation with breakfast £89) at The Hotel on the Park, Cheltenham. I chose to contact the Hotel, and they offered the same deal if I booked with them directly. As the 'Christmas period' was unavailable, I chose two nights at the end of April 2013. My wife... More

Stayed in this hotel many times over the years and I never cease to be amazed at the old Cotswold charm of this gem of an establishment - from the 'intrusive free' professional attention to service detail, to the warm and cozy decor that surrounds and seduces the visitor. The breakfast and dinners offered in the regency styled dinning area... More

A boutique hotel nicely located opposite a park just to the north of the town centre. The room we had - a feature room was lovely, clean and very comfortable, but the mini bar is VERY expensive as is the main bar.
