I had a super stay here in the 'Excellent' room and it was truly that, absolutely massive with beautiful fixtures, fittings and added touches/extras. All the covert tech was particularly cool. We were greeted very warmly and shown around the wonderful spaces. I was a big fan of the breakfast room which we ate at in the morning. The breakfast... More

This is a very stylish hotel, very clean with friendly service. It would have been great for an overnight but was a little tricky for a longer stay. Although the furnishings appeared new, the mattress was completely worn out. The staff did not have any bed boards and could not replace the mattress, so I wound up having to sleep... More

Excellent small hotel which has been refurbished to a high standard. Staff were all friendly and helpful. B&B continental breakfast more than adequate, never tried the cooked. Hotel uses honesty bar policy which works fine. Room was spacious and clean with very good en suite. 5 minute stroll into the town centre. Would have no hesitation to stay there again.

We paid £150 and it was not worth no where near this, room was like an oven, toilet broke, towel radiator and tap broke, no hot water in the morning, pillows paper thin and constant noise with banging doors until late in the night. We managed to see two rats running around while sat in the small courtyard. Ran out... More

We had a fantastic stay at no 38. The place oozes style yet manages to be both welcoming and relaxed. Perfect for a weekend getaway and close enough to Cheltenham town centre. Our room had twin sinks and twin showers! There is a comfortable longe to relax in and a lovely ourptdoor terrace to enjoy a bottle of wine from... More

After taking a comfortable seat in the small courtyard garden behind No 38 The Park, a well dressed gentleman who looked like a rich and tasteful uncle asked us about our visit. He described No 38 as his home from home, "like staying at your rich and tasteful uncle's house." Which sums up No 38 perfectly: it's your rich tasteful... More

A very slick operation. The owner demonstrates their wish to have a cut above the rest establishment through the many well thought out little touches. Room was charming, not overly flashy but very interesting and a lot of attention to detail throughout. The place has a lot of understated style. Staff were all very well trained and helpful - seem... We stayed recently and would recommend it. Our room was beautifully appointed with many luxury features which were much appreciated. Service was excellent and thoughtful. Breakfast was extensive and daily papers were available to read . Limited parking at the front of the establishment meant we had to park on the street

Recently stayed in No.38 The Park and were blown away. Everything about this property is to our liking! The location is beyond perfect. Being located right opposite Pittville Park and having Wellington Square behind is ideal for walking dogs. We stayed in a "Very good" room #5 which was everything we could have wanted. The decor, linen/towels/bathrobes, nespresso machine, Loewe... More

The staff were brilliant. Nothing was too much bother. We made full use of the honour bar (with a slight panic in the morning trying to remember if I had written down the last two glasses of wine - I had!) The room was lovely and the bath-tub was spectacular. We didn't want to leave! The restaurant is a short... More
