On the way to a weekend away with the family, the wife and I stopped off at Bourton on the Water, and Broadlands Guest House. We arrived at about 3.00pm to be welcomed by Marco. I thought we were the only guests (at this time of the year) but later found it was virtually full. The room was plain and... more

We agree with 'Yorkshire Kate's' review, we also stayed in room 5. We had no major complaints, however, * no wi-fi found * lack of info on local facilities ie restaurants, places to visit etc * lack of info on room facilities ie TV, radio clock alarm, wake-up calls * we reported the bathroom strip light and were promised it... more

We stayed at Broadlands for 2 nights in the luxury suite. Room was lovely, clean and spacious. The breakfast was delicious, served in the bright conservatory by friendly staff. Bourton was just a 2 minute stroll down the road with plenty of places to eat. The Kingsbridge done a fantastic steak (2 for £10.00). A visit to the maze is... more

Room 5. Very dissapointed with cleanliness . When turning the table lamp on I noticed the top of the plug was very dirty, this led me to the skirting board behind the bed which was also dirty. The wardrobe was dusty ,dirty and also full of fluff. The toilet was very badly stained on the water level ,and round the... more

A lovely run hotel in the heart of Bourton-on-the-Water, only a minute walk from the gorgeous river and main strip. We had a nice romantic stay in a charming spacious room, and were made to feel very welcome by Marco the manager. There was free parking which we were able to use for the rest of the day after we... more

We have stayed there for 2 nights with 2 kids - ages 12 & 16 The room was sapcious, very clean and quiet. The manager Marco was friendly and helpful. The parking is right outside the door. The guest house is no more than 5 minutes walk from the village center. We recommend to visit Birdland and the old cars... more

Just returned from a stay at Broadlands Guest House. As other reviews have said Marco is the perfect host and makes you feel like a friend rather than a paying guest. Broadlands location is superb, just a 3 minute walk from the centre of Bourton in a quiet and peaseful area. Our room was very nicely decorated and very comfortable.... more

We have just returned from a 3 day stay at Broadlands, and had an excellent experience throughout our time there. We stayed in the "Luxury Suite" on the top floor, which proved to be very clean, comfortable and well-designed - having seperate sleeping and living areas was a very good thing. The room was quiet and well-furnished, although it would... more
