My wife and I enjoyed a two night stay in early October. We were delighted with the location on the edge of this, very pretty, village. Easy to find, with off street parking and just a short walk into the village center. We had a friendly welcome, I'd paid the extra for the four poster room which was on the... more

We found this B&B to be comfortable and it provided an adequate breakfast. The room was spacious with comfortable chairs and the beds were pretty good. The decorating was very dated. The bathroom could have used another towel bar or two and more shelves for toilettries. The location was very good for walking into the town. There is no garden... more

We stayed at this guest house a couple of years ago, and had a room on the ground floor with a 4 poster bed, which was excellent. This time we were on the first floor and had a room which wasnt as good, with no bath, just a shower. Despite this, for the price I paid this represents good value... more

This place could definitely do with an update. New decor, furnishings and bathrooms would make this an ideal place to stay. The plumbing could do with a bit of thought as well - my husband started off in a hot shower and ended up having a cold one as soon as the guests next door turned their taps on! Reasonable... more

We stayed at this hotel to have a trip around the cotswolds and found this hotel very amenable and excellent value for the price. The owners were extremely helpful and provided a plethora of information on the area which was really useful. The only (very) slight criticism was that the bathroom was slightly dated but that shouldn't stop you from... more

We recently stayed at the Lansdowne Villa in the triple/family room which had a double bed & 2 singles. We are 3 adults and this was ideal for us & the price was very reasonable (better than getting 2 twins). We arrived mid afternoon & got a warm welcome off Helen, who offered us a cup of tea. The room... more

We arrived early on Friday evening having driven through the heaviest snow fall for many many years. We were greated by Helen who was very friendly and took us straight to our room. We were pleasantly suprised to get the four poster bedroom as we had not asked for it. The room was very warm, welcoming and clean with a... more

We spent two enjoyable nights at Lansdowne. The room was clean and comfortable with a good sized shower and bath. The hosts were very hospitable and served an excellent breakfast. The house was located just a couple of minutes walk outside the village which meant that it was a lot quieter. There was off street parking and all the village... more

The Lansdowne Villas are a great choice for Bourton-on-the-Water, with extremely comfortable budget-priced rooms in a great location. We rocked up without a reservation for one night and ended up staying two because we liked it so much. It’s a 3 minute walk to the hub of Bourton (but just enough away to be quiet), has ample parking, and the... more

Just come back from a 3 night stay at this guest house. Perfectly adequate and good value for money. Simple and basic with no frills. Breakfasts are excellent with a large selection of food. Room clean and comfortable but rather dated and bathroom would benefit from a few extra accessories...eg a bathmat and some softer towels. However if you are... more
