Watched the rugby here last weekend with friends. Great atmosphere in pub and nice staff. Good selection of beers. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and all 6 of us really enjoyed our meals. Good service and really tasty food and good prices too. i would recommend. Friends who stayed here said accomodation was good too.

We recently visited the Duke of Wellington for a meal whilst having a few days break in the Cotswold's.. We have been there before and always had superb service hence our returning. The food was lovely and the service from a young lady who was there when we last visited the pub last year, was excellent.Nothing was too much trouble... More

We stayed here for two nights as there was a problem with the room in the hotel where we should have been staying. The room was very clean and tastefully decorated and cosy. The breakfast was freshly cooked and certainly filled you up. All the staff were really friendly, courteous and very helpful and we were given a very warm... More

Located just off of the high street this modern pub was clean and tidy. Being a mid-week afternoon cliental were scarce. There was a good choice of beers and an average menu. We did not eat but those nearby who were, seemed happy enough and the food looked good. Why did they have to have loud music blaring out, nice... More

Well what a fantastic family meal my friend and I had at The Duke of Wellington! Fantastic quality and value for money. Our children ate every morsel with clean plates all round. Stayed here in October for a long weekend! Was in a great location, in the centre of Bourton On The water! The room was really nice, smallish but cozy! Loved the river at the back and I'm sure it would be nice to sit out on a warm day! Staff were very friendly, particularly the girl with very short hair,... More

We have just returned from another 2 night stay at The Duke of Wellington. We phone through to book our rooms and are always put in our room..... Breakfast for us is a full English freshly cooked and the evening menu and specials are lovely. We genuinely can't fault the staff who over the past couple of years have become... More

This is in the Good Pub Guide as a 'B' entry. Nice pub. Friendly staff. Food was average. Frozen chips. But smaller portions on a 2 for a tenner promo which was good value and suited the older generation!!! Worth going for a good British pub experience, but don't hold your breath on the food.

My wife & I chose to stay one night at this pub B&B only as there was no availability elsewhere. The room we had (room 5) was somewhat dated & small. The door knob on the inside of the en suite came off in your hands which was annoying too. It was however clean and comfortable and the shower was... More
