We visited the pub while on holiday in Bourton and were looking for a Sunday Roast. It said on the board served until 6 subject to availability so by the time we got there at 4 they had stopped the Carvery but were still serving the roast plated up. Friendly welcome, had the football on for the other half, were... More

We were in the area visiting friends, this was our second stay here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was fairly comfortable apart from the mattress which could do with being replaced as it was so soft it offered no support at all. We had a full cooked breakfast the next morning which was very nice. We... More

My husband and I spent last night at the Duke of Wellington in Bourton-on-the-Water. the good is it is ideally located right in the center of things in the beautiful Bourton-on-the-water. Could not have been in a better location. The special they gave us for £25 for our 2 course evening meal was a very good deal and the food... More

We wanted a nice, little b n b to stay in for our wedding anniversary, my mum and dad had eaten in the pub and had recommend it and I have to say it was lovely. £80 for the night incuding breakfast, which in the height of August, we thought very reasonable. The staff were extremly helpful and very friendly... More

Will do take out. Clean and tidy. Good view from window. We stayed in room 1. Must remember a wofking pub... More

Hubby and I enjoyed a romantic weekend for our wedding anniversary. We wanted a cosy stay rather than a bigger type hotel. We had dinner here on the first evening and for £25 for the 2 of us it was a really good bargain - we shared a starter, and a dessert.I had a lovely steak and Hubby really rated the... More

Had lunch on saturday with family and friends. Starter, main course were both good. we had ordered mushrooms, kiev, chicken burger, veg burger, fish and chips. we all enjoyed the food and the beer and wine were also good. Small complaint - fish and chips at 9.75 was overpriced

My wife & I visited Bourton on the Water on one of the busiest days so far this year. As all of the riverside food establishments were full we looked for an alternative and found the Duke of Wellington pub just a few yards off the beaten track, just to the left of the motor museum in Sherborne Street. What... More
