Amazing service - young man named Alex gave us an exceptional customer service without prejudice! Would highly recommend for great food & drink, professional service and good hospitality. Really impressed and will always pop back every occasion I am in the area.

We hadn't booked earlier and walked in around 3 pm asking for rooms. The lady at the bar showed us 2 rooms which looked pretty decent and we checked in immediately for a night. One of the rooms was stinking a bit but on letting her know, she immediately took care of it. Host and hostess were both very gracious... More

Small basic rooms, no frills but in an expensive over booked village it was fine. There is something lacking in this place though as all the other pubs and restaurants were buzzing. Bed and breakfast was £80, the breakfast was very good, well cooked, plentiful and good quality ingredients.

We pre-ordered our meals at the hotel's request. We were given two tables in a pleasant setting with good light from roof windows. Notwithstanding we were running twenty minutes late, the food was served with a smile in a timely fashion to our group. It was hot and to a very good standard. It was a most convivial occasion for... Ate here last night, as we had popped in a couple of times for drinks and found the staff really friendly. Glad we did, the food was lovely and there was plenty of it, and very well priced. Ate in the bar, lovely atmosphere. Thank you to Hannah and Amanda, who made it very welcoming.

We recently visited the Duke of Wellington for a meal whilst having a few days break in the Cotswold's.. We have been there before and always had superb service hence our returning. The food was lovely and the service from a young lady who was there when we last visited the pub last year, was excellent.Nothing was too much trouble... More

We stayed here for two nights as there was a problem with the room in the hotel where we should have been staying. The room was very clean and tastefully decorated and cosy. The breakfast was freshly cooked and certainly filled you up. All the staff were really friendly, courteous and very helpful and we were given a very warm... More

Located just off of the high street this modern pub was clean and tidy. Being a mid-week afternoon cliental were scarce. There was a good choice of beers and an average menu. We did not eat but those nearby who were, seemed happy enough and the food looked good. Why did they have to have loud music blaring out, nice... More
