Visit this place several times a year with my grandchildren, food is always good although on this occasion the portions were quite small, however quality was still pretty good, the place was pretty busy and only one person serving behind the bar and one serving food, however we were served fairly quickly. The gents toilets are in need of some... More

This hotel is right in the middle of the village. You can wall to many of the attractions and restaurants in the village. We had a room over looking the river outside, which was lovely for a Thursday night. The pub closed at a certain't time so knew that the people outside would be gone before we would get grumpy... We have stayed here several times now and have always booked one of the two feature rooms to get that extra little bit of comfort and view of the river. The bar food is very reasonable and has a friendly locals feel well worth a visit a simply stunning Cotswold village.

Had a wonderful 3 night break at The Old Manse. On arrival no space in the rear car park. Within seconds a member of staff ran out to move her car and let us park up straight away. The willingness of staff to help, serve, engage in conversation and ensure you had all you needed was constant. Atmosphere great. Old... More

Had a 2 night stay here in March on a Daily Mail special offer and were impressed especially after reading some of the reviews. We had a good room in the main building and managed to get the car in the small car park. The Sunday roasts are usually good in Old English Inns and especially good value after 5... More

We have just returned from a three night stay at The Old Manse. Our first impressions from outside were very positive. The inn is a very attractive old building which was once owned by the church, and it is in an excellent location right at the heart of the village and besides the river. There is a car park to... Had one night stay here on 5th November last year. On the plus side the Hotel is centrally positioned & the breakfast was well worth having but little else was noteworthy. We were located in the annex on the first floor in a pokey twin bedded room. Getting up to the room was an ordeal in itself because the landing... More

Very well located in a beautiful region, this hotel looks very nice and comfortable. Unfortunately for us, the room we stayed in was a bit old and would have needed some redecorating and maintenance. For the price we paid we expected something a bit better. The weal and breakfast we had in the hotel was very nice and the staff... More

Thank you for you recent feedback, were I have passed your lovely comments onto my team. The Old Manse is an extremely busy Inn, and a number of the rooms are currently undergoing redecoration, where this busy usage has taken its toll. Fantastic location by river in beautiful village and ideal for exploring the cotswolds. Staff were friendly and i thought the rates were value for money. We stayed on the second floor where there were two rooms - numbers 12 and 14. It is basically a converted loft and whilst the room dimensions were pretty small it was fine for a... More
