dont get me wrong, we did enjoy our stay at the hotel, however we feel that is over priced. The village is beautiful and the hotel looks impressive set back from the road. However get inside , the rooms are very basic, small, but clean, the toilet door and other doors creaked, the bathroom was that small, the toilet was squeezed... More

Unfortunately my husband was taken ill the day we were due to travel to the Dial House. When I telephoned to cancel the manager said that they would do their best to relet the room, but reminded me of their cancellation policy. However, even though the hotel had not been able to relet the room, they were extremely considerate and... More

Had a quiet weekend away to celebrate my wife's birthday. The hotel is in centre of the village set back from the main road with its own parking. The room was large with a four poster bed and a lovely bathroom. We had the tasting menu which was excellent, the eight courses of which highlights for me were the apple... More

We stayed at the Dial House for one night and ate in the restaurant. The whole experience was excellent, from the service of the very attentive staff to the extremely comfortable and luxurious room, and the fantastic food.

Just come back from a one night stay here and the experience was truly wonderful. From our arrival we were made very welcome by the staff. We were in room number 3 which has a 4 poster bed and a roll top bath. The tea and coffee making facilities were plentiful with lots of tea bags, milk and biscuits (unlike... More

We live in the village and try to support our local businesses, but unfortunately we didn't even get through the front door to this Charming little establishment. Along with myself, husband and 5 month old baby we were soon told that babies were not allowed in the resturant so after then asking would it be possible to dine outside (as it... More

I did quite a bit of research on the Cotswolds before we made a three day excursion there last month. We were pleasantly surprised by (1) the gorgeous weather we encountered, (2) how lovely Bourton-On-the-Water is and (3) how charming this particular hotel was. While Bourton gets a lot of tourists mid-day, we took long walks in the a.m. and... More

Impressed by the location of the hotel and our room was very good as it had a separate Jacuzzi and separate shower. Bed extremely comfortable. Disappointed with the choice of menu for an evening meal and ate out elsewhere. Had concerns about the spa bath in the gardens. It was covered, I asked about it and was shown what it... More

Recently stayed at the Dial House, the hotel is in a beautiful situation within the village, and looks stunning. The food was excellent we had afternoon cream tea and breakfast. The reason I have not given this five stars is it just lacks that personnel touch, dealt with Simon on arriving and he was very friendly and helpful, but after... More

We chose here because they allow dogs to stay in the annex. The hotel is very central, with welcome parking and a large garden to the rear which gives a bit of peace and quiet away from the tourists. The bar and dining room are cute cotswold chic, and the evening meal was fantastic, great to have a chef that... More
