We visited for the second time recently, this time taking advantage of the hotel's offer for taster menu plus wine flight with free B&B. The Dial House is a pretty building in a very pretty Cotswold village and conveniently situated to explore the village and surrounding area. As before the staff were extremely pleasant and welcoming, the rooms comfortable and... More

The rooms are lovely, and well decorated, with a classy style. The staff were lovely and really helpful. We enjoyed a fantastic meal in the hotel, with quality ingredients and a classy menu. The hotel is in a great location in a lovely village.

Located in an ideal position with a pretty 17th century facade, the hotel would initially appear to tick most boxes. The staff were welcoming, the bedroom clean and functional. However, the hotel's decor appears at odds with its 17th century heritage - garish and cheap looking furniture, mismatching wallpapers (in parts peeling off) with mirrors and paintings that seemed equally... This year we've been lucky enough to eat at Tom Kerridge's The Hand & Flowers, The Square in Mayfair, along with other fabulous restaurants in New York & Seville. Chef Paul Nicholson's taster menu ranks right alongside our great food memories of 2014. What a find and all the best for 2015. PS - the excellent service and whoever matched... More

After a long flight, we were looking forward to a pre-Christmas 3 day break and we were not disappointed. The hotel is lovely and old and has a nice warm atmosphere and made us feel very Christmassy - the lounge area is warm and welcoming. The breakfasts were about the best we have had, nothing fried, all grilled and presented... More

We've stayed at the Dial House twice before, about 10 years ago. First stay was great, the second not so good. We did go back and, probably long since under new management, it was great. We love Bourton on the Water anyway, but the hotel was perfect for a romantic night away to celebrate an anniversary. Dinner was excellent: amazing... More

We stayed at the dial house in November after seeing an offer for one night cost £119 for a superior room DBB. We have been to the Cotswolds many times and Bourron on the water is known as little Venice which is so pretty it's a river flowing through it. Th hotel in the the centre of the town so... More

We stayed at the Dial House Hotel using a Red Letter Voucher. There were no problems at all with the room booking, and by booking a table in the restaurant in advance, we saved £10 a head on a three course meal. The food was exquisite! There were loads of nice touches - canapes in the lounge in front of... More

Good breakfast, very calm spot and attentive staff. Close to many cities and villages of the Cotswolds. You can park your car for free and enjoy the village. You can also go walking to Lower Slaughter which is another nice village to pay a visit.

Only spent one night here but were very impressed with location as in centre of town. Reasonably priced for what you get as were shown 3 rooms (all different) ground floor with garden, first floor with separate dressing room. Took the latter. Very quiet location......food good. Would defineately stay here again.
