We stayed at the Dial House Hotel using a Red Letter Voucher. There were no problems at all with the room booking, and by booking a table in the restaurant in advance, we saved £10 a head on a three course meal. The food was exquisite! There were loads of nice touches - canapes in the lounge in front of... More

Good breakfast, very calm spot and attentive staff. Close to many cities and villages of the Cotswolds. You can park your car for free and enjoy the village. You can also go walking to Lower Slaughter which is another nice village to pay a visit.

Only spent one night here but were very impressed with location as in centre of town. Reasonably priced for what you get as were shown 3 rooms (all different) ground floor with garden, first floor with separate dressing room. Took the latter. Very quiet location......food good. Would defineately stay here again.

My wife and I stayed at the Dial House for 2 nights in October. We were warmly greeted at reception and bags were taken to our room. The room was lovely with nice little touches (selection of tea/coffee and Molton Brown toiletries). If I was being picky the room could have been bigger. The hotel is in the heart of... More

My partner and I were bought a Red Letter voucher for this hotel which I had always admired as a little girl on trips to Boughton on the Water. Having had a baby recently this was a special treat as it was the first time we had spent away from her. One of the things I was most looking forward... More

We booked a classic ground floor room ,I know classic is the lowest level, but £99 per night ! there was just enough room to get round one side of the bed and the other side had a bedside table-same as had the other side plus a very small wardrobe -no drawers or shelves and no room to put cases... In a great position, just set back from the main street in Bourton. We stayed for the weekend. Some of us were in the Coach House and others in the main building. It's an old building so the size of the rooms in the hotel vary, and this can't be helped. The hotel itself was very comfortable and well furnished... More

Stayed here for one night on a dinner bed and breakfast package. The bar/lounge areas are tasteful and relaxing and the gardens are lovely. Our dinner was very good - fine dining with excellent service. Nice enough room but 4 poster bed was too small for us so not a comfortable night. The cooked breakfast next morning was tasty however... More

A lovely small hotel, excellent attention to detail, top class service from friendly helpful staff. Comfortable attractive rooms, a quiet private garden with plenty of seating away from the madding crowds of a tourist packed Bourton, to relax and enjoy the weekend papers with a glass of wine. Drinks served in elegant, delicate roomy glasses, so much nicer than the... More

My review adds to previous comments about Simon who had a lot on his shoulders. In addition to checking us in, he ran the bar, took our orders for dinner, showed us to our table and served. We saw no one else and the only other people seemed to be in the kitchen. We were very impressed how he managed... More
