Due to having a leg injury I was unable to walk. I chose Bourton- on- the- Water as it is one of the flattest places to walk in U.K We arrived at the house to be told I was on the top floor!!!!!.I had already paid £20 to change my booking. I explained It was essential to have a room... More

I was on a 4 night guided walk break, with 3 days of walking in the surrounding countryside. We were given the choice of three different levels of walks every day, ranging from easy to medium to long. I could not fault anything at all about the break. Everyone was so friendly, the staff, the guests, the walk leaders -... More

The perfect antidote to an over indulgent Christmas. Staff were mostly attentive. Food was more than passable and the HF guides were all exceptional people who obviously cared passionately about their given tasks. Room was warm, comfortable and well equipped. Huge bath (!) but would have liked a stand-up shower as well. Food quality fell a little short of haut... More

Harrington House is an historic country house and so has a certain olde worlde charm. We stayed on a weekend break with HF Holidays. Our room was of a good size and well-appointed, with television, coffee and tea-making facilities and a clock with mp3 player connection, slippers and bathrobes. Décor was up to date. There was adequate storage for two... More

We stayed here on a short walking holiday as members of HF Holidays. the hotel was full of like minded guests and we were lead by qualified leaders for three days. We had a choice three different walks each day, from easy, medium to harder (average distance 6miles, 8 miles or 10 miles respectively). The hotel is a comfortable 4... More

We were very pleased with our choice to stay at Harrington House. Our room (23) was on the ground floor of an annex and was superb. It had recently been refurbished and offered excellent accommodation, it even had its own private walled courtyard/garden. We were aware the hotel was owned by HF Holidays and catered for group activities and as... More

Just returned from a w/e break with a friend booked through Booking.com. There was no mention that this hotel is used primarily by HF Holidays for organised walking holidays. Breakfast was 7.45-9.00am - very early for a w/e and we had to book out by 10am, again quite early. Whilst breakfast was acceptable there was no seating for groups of... More

HF owned house in excellent location some 200 yards from the centre of Bourton on the Water. Food quality acceptable although HF are not as generous on some of the extras they used to provide. Well managed with friendly and obliging manager
