Visited the picturesque village of Biberry in the Cotswolds and decided to pop into the Swan Hotel. What a super place, the bar menu itself looked excellent so my partner and I opted for this, I had welsh rarebit which had beneath a layer of caramelised red onion served with a lovely salad - it was delicious as was my... My partner and I won a £250 voucher at a raffle for to spend on a break with the Cotswolds inns and hotels group, and we're so lucky we did. We had a look around and decided we'd put it towards staying in the whooper cottage suite, which has its own private hot tub! Without the voucher we never would... More

I have stayed at this hotel twice now in the last month, once with my wife and once with a group of friends. On both occasions I had a wonderful stay, lovely tastefully decorated rooms, great food and superb service. We usually stay in the recently closed Bibury Court Hotel and The Swans doesn't have the wow factor or the... More

We live nearby and have wanted to go into the Swan for many years, as we often walk or drive past it, so when we were looking for a good place to meet neighbours for lunch, the restaurant here came to mind. It belongs to the same group of hotels as the Close in Tetbury , so that had to... More

We recently had our wedding at the hotel. We could not have asked for a better day! Everyone commented on how well organised everything was, how nice all the staff were and how yummy the food was. The day flowed so well and seamlessly that we could just relax and enjoy ourselves. The wedding planner Charlotte was amazing from the... More

I stayed in this hotel for just one night to attend Cheltenham Races with my Mum. I left wishing we had more time to spend in the hotel and surrounding area. Set in an old coaching inn in the picture postcard perfect village of Bibury it is beautifully decorated throughout - old world but not twee. Our room "Butterfly" was... More

Mother's Day We had lunch at The Swan Hotel and it was really good. This is the second time we have celebrated a special day at the hotel hence our return. The food was great and the service was excellent. Mum was given a rose plant and a special sweet platter for Mum's. ( what a nice touch ) Already... More

I am perturbed that recent reviews have not been great for this Hotel. Fortunately this has not been our experience. The Management and staff have been so helpful during our stay. There was a slight 'issue' with our reservation too but it was dealt with so brilliantly that we felt well looked after. Our room was the Trumpeter Cottage for... More

We booked an executive double room because that was the only room left, wasn't disappointed. It overlooked the front of the hotel, the sun was shining and the stream outside the hotel was glinting in the sunshine. The bed was enormous so lost the husband in the night........ Would highly recommend this hotel, beautiful surroundings. 5-6 miles away from Cirencester... More

This small but beautiful hotel is in the heart of a picturesque village. Open fires and a warm welcome awaits. We had lunch and dinner in the restaurant. The food was amazing and the service impeccable. We were there for the Cheltenham festival and came back to a really comfortable room with Molton Brown bathroom products. This is one hotel... More
