We had a lovely relaxing weekend, we arrived on the friday evening and were taken to our lovely room with a huge bathroom. We ate both nights in the conservatory restaurant and found the service to be fine, both friendly and welcoming. The food was lovely too. Thoroughly enjoyed using the gym, pool and jacuzzi. It is in a beautiful... more

This was our 2nd visit to Calcot on a beautiful weekend when we were able to make the most of the facilities and rural setting. Because of this we were prepared to overlook a few initial mishaps (ordered tea and scones on arrival - tea arrives but forgot the scones!). However on the second night we had a somewhat farcical... more

My husband and I went to Calcot to celebrate his recent birthday. From the moment we arrived we knew we were in for a treat. Every member of staff that we came in contact with were so polite and could not do enough to help, whilst still being friendly. Our room (Tresco) was beautiful and as one of their standard... more

Me and my partner stayed here for his 30th birthday and it was absolutely fantastic. The room was clean and beautiful, with fresh apples daily when the room is cleaned, newspaper delivered to your door each day and breakfast if you like. If you are driving it is nice to drive off the beaten track and see all the little... more

I wonderful place to stay, i was taken by my girlfriend so not to sure about the price but it seemed reasonable. I would go back again with out a second thought the staff are simply outstanding and the food was as good as you would expect from the standard of the hotel. They also had some lovely vintage Krug. more

Some hotels are cheap and cheerful, others like Calcot Manor have set their stall at the very expensive end of the market and as a result need to be able to deliver on ALL fronts. They got it about 90% right 90% of the time with a few very annoying misses. The extra bed in our childrens bedroom was of... more

I have been in the leisure industry for many years and I like to think that no detail passes my attention, this place seems to have got it right. From people skills, top johnny decor and rooms to die for, it 's almost perfection. I can't think of a better place I would rather stay. As Carly Simon say's Nobody... more

We stayed for Easter weekend with our two year old. Good bits The room was excellent as we had two separate bedrooms - one main room downstairs and a second twin upstairs. It was very comfortable and well appointed. There was also a private garden which was brilliant for our daughter to play in. There were security gates at the... more

We went on a mid-week break at £305/night which included breakfast, dinner and a £60 spa treatment per day- which we found well worth it. The way into Calcot Manor was very easy - from London - about 2 hours, so from a travel perspective ideal. Our room was a little on the small side, but the bathroom made up... more
