It would be hard to find a couple more suited to run a b& b than Jean and Eric. The rooms are spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Nothing is too much trouble for these two. An outstanding experience. Being a veggie is no problem, the breakfast is excellent. Malvern House certainly gets my vote for best b&b in the area... More

We recently stayed at Malvern House and got a warm welcome when we arrived with a cup of tea, but to be honest it was like paying to stay with relatives in that we were immediately immersed in 'their world' and felt little personal space. Too much chat. This was made worse by the communal breakfast table which we shared... More

We suppose over friendly is not the worst description of us. However, we will look at that area. Staying in a home situation is not for everyone, and we regret these guests were not comfortable with us. The hot water was a complete shock to us, in 17 years we have never had this problem, but we did have hot... More

I have stayed at Malvern House in July 2010 with my 2 travel friends, and to be honest i wasn't expecting such a great, clean and peaceful place. All the places were extremely clean with great rooms full of hygiene. It was so sweet that there were coffee, tea, and cookies to eat in the room. Apart from all of these i... More

We only stayed one night, our hosts Jean and Eric were great and the full English breakfast was superb. We travel a lot with our business in Australia and wish we could find places like that here. thanks again Jean and Eric Kind Regards Peter & Anita

Just come back from Malvern House and had a lovely, quiet and relaxing time. The accommodation is spotless, spacious and comfortable. Jean & Eric are a lovely couple very warm, friendly and helpful. As a solo traveller that week I was made to feel part of the family. The breakfasts were great and I even had some home made jam!... More

i stayed at Malvern House with 4 friends in 2 rooms. I was in a spacious, double aspect twin bedded room. We had our own separate bathroom and toilet. The facilities in our room were excellent. We even had a coffee percolator! After a very comfortable and peaceful night's sleep, we came down to a hearty full English breakfast which... More

We stayed here when we came down for a friend's wedding. Jean & Eric made us feel very welcome and were really helpful. Loved the full English breakfast the next morning after a comfortable night's sleep. The B&B is only about a mile from Seaford town centre.

Myself and 3 friends escaped our hectic London lives for the weekend and stayed at Eric and Jean's wonderful B&B. We had such a good time and really enjoyed the peace and quiet and the fantastic breakfasts! But it was Eric and Jean's hospitality that made it such a memorable stay. We were made to feel so welcome and all... More
