One block from the beach. Built in 1759, it has been updated. Queen beds, ensuite bath. Great staff, friendly and willing to help. Huge breakfast. Pub adjoined to the hotel anb has the best fish anb chips we had in the UK. Lovely, quiet town. Only minus is street parking but we had no problenns. The price and experience was... More

We stayed here for a couple of nights. It was a pleasurable experience and all the staff were excellent. The accommodation is good and comfortable, clean and good value for money. We were above the main bar but didn't notice any noise coming our way. The hotel gets very busy in the evenings, not surprised as both the real ales... More

Stayed here overnight at the beginning of December and was very pleasantly surprised! My partner and I were down for one night to attend a Christmas party and decided to stay over night rather than drive all the way back home and I'm glad we did. The moment we walked in we were met by a warm, festive, cosy atmosphere.... More

Nice spacious rooms that are newly renovated. Central location in Seaford and a short walk to the Esplanade and the cliffs - great! Staff very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast especially was sumptuous and the portion was huge. Only gripe was the bar downstairs which could get busy - but didn't have trouble sleeping after 11. Recommended.

This is a great little hotel. Rooms are comfortable, breakfast keeps you going all day and the price is not too bad. The bar can get very crowded but I guess thats because it's a nice place. I've stayed here a few times and not been dissapointed.

Me and a mate stayed a couple of nights visiting seaford for some golf. We ended up eating there every day as the food was really nice and felt home made from scratch, as opposed to the prefab mass produced "food" served at the chain pub nearby. Also this place is an ale heaven with 10 proper ales on tap.... More

We stayed on a Sunday evening with our grandson after previously staying on our own. We can't express fully what great value this place is. The room was large and had all extras you would expect from a higher chain hotel. A lovely tea/coffee tray, and all the toiletries you would need. But the highlight was the breakfast, Tony not... We used this hotel as a base prior to an early morning ferry from Newhaven. Very nice room which had been recently refurbished with a distant view of the sea. Staff were very pleasant and we got a complimentary morning paper. The breakfast was excellent, freshly cooked, with the meat coming from a local award winning butcher. It is a... More

Was very disappointed in the service from the bar staff. Asked to order food at 20-58 after waiting for five minutes at the bar with only one serving and other getting ice and believe it serving food in the other bar. No sorry just stop serving food. So glad the customer comes first.

Stayed here one night as we were getting the ferry and hadn't fancied any of the hotels in Newhaven. We were expecting fairly average pub accommodation but were pleasantly surprised by the large airy room, good food and welcoming staff who were happy to help us with our bikes and store them inside. There was some noise from the drinkers outside...
