I used the Wellington as a base to walk the South Downs Way along the Seven Sisters and onto Eastbourne. Its quite close to both the beach as well as the town centre and train station. Very nice pub and rooms, highly recommended.

we celebrated our wedding anniversary during half term at The Wellington Hotel in Seaford. We chose it because it had such consistently good reviews on Trip Advisor and because it's quite close to London. We had a great time. The wellie doesn't make a big thing about what they offer customers but we felt that in many ways it was... More

This is the premier pub/restaurant in Seaford. It's has a wide and ever changing line of real ales, to complement a wide and varied menu all cooked and prepared fresh on site. The Wellington is only 300m from Seaford Beach. With its award wining B&B it is loved by locals and visitors alike. Beware that Friday & Saturday nights are... More

We have just returned from visiting my son and his partner in Seaford and we stayed at the Wellington for two nights. The room we stayed in was clean and the small touches of the bottled water, bathroom accessories were extremely welcome. The manager and all staff members were friendly helpful and made our stay a enjoyable and pleasant one,... More

Took our Nan for lunch today and from the moment we walked in, they couldn't do enough. So patient and smiley. Food was great and tailored the menu to what you wanted. Chips perfect and vegggies ( 😨) cooked lovely if that's what you want! So close to the sea and cosy and gorgeous, we were so impressed.... Thank you... More

Just stayed at this hotel for two nights and was so pleased I felt it deserved a review. From the friendly welcoming greeting you get from the staff on arrival to the quick and easy booking in & out process. Our room was a good seize with a large walk in wardrobe with plenty of drawer space. The en-suite was... More

Just returned from our third stay at the Wellington. Room 101 just had a great refurbishment, very comfortable. Lovely breakfasts and friendly staff. Ate in restaurant one evening which was good. Eastbourne and Brighton nearby. Will be back for another stay.

We enjoyed a two-night stay here recently. The room had recently been refurbished and had been very elegantly done. The hotel is very close to the seafront and near the town centre and the breakfast was great.

We have stayed here before and are coming back next month as we have family living near. Love this place, everything is perfect for our needs. We have stayed in plusher hotels but this little B&B offers a more personal touch and a great pub/restaurant aswell.

One of the reasons for choosing the Wellington was it's proximity to Newhaven ferry port, just 10 minutes drive. The choice of 10 hand pulled beers plus the price attracted me as well, I must admit. Nice welcome from the helpful barmaid. Entrance to the rooms is via a lockable door which adds security as it easily accessible from the... More
