Exceat Famhouse offers an extensive lunch menu during the summer while in the winter months you can enjoy tea, cakes, sandwiches and the brunch menu. This includes the best Eggs Benedict I have ever eaten. The eggs were poached exactly as requested and arrived on slices of high quality ham, nicely cooked spinach and toasted muffins surrounded by excellent hollandaise... More

Stopped there while walking from Seaford to the Seven Sisters. This small restaurant has a short menu but the food was delicious. On a sunny day, they have tables in the courtyard which means you can keep enjoying the good weather togeher with the food. The service was very attentive and efficient.

If you can’t poach an egg should you call yourself a chef? After a long walk on a cold day we were pleased to discover an extensive and inviting menu at Exceat Farmhouse. Eggs Benedict is a real treat, and just enough for a light lunch, so we all ordered it. The waitress asked if we would like smoked salmon... More

My partner and I went to Seven Sisters for a walk on a lovely sunny Sunday. We decided to stop for a bite to eat and chose the Exceat Farmhouse as it was close... We ordered a ploughman's each - one makerel and one cheddar... OMG!!! We're not fussy eaters but they were both terrible. The bread was stale, the... More

My husband were visting the area over Easter, so decided to stop at the Farmhouse for lunch. We had a delicious and generous ploughmans and a Welsh rarebit, as well as a lovely slice of Simnel cake and a hot cross bun. It was bitter outside, however we were welcomed into the charming farmhouse by the friendly staff (and cat)... More

We recently had a pleasant light lunch here. The food was nice and the surroundings are quaint and attractive. We were served by two nice young lads and service was prompt. I have to say it was with some trepidation that we entered this establishment as a few years ago we encountered the rudest and most surly waitress that I... More

Having just finished a short walk we decided to call in to the farmhouse for lunch. Very pleased we did, lovely old farmhouse. Staff attentive and food simple but well prepared. Nice lunch with drinks for £20 not bad at all.

Stopped by the Exceat Farmhouse in Seven Sisters Country Park for a quick bite to eat. Friendly staff served tea & coffee with an Eggs Benedict and an Eggs Florentine which beat a burger and chips into a cocked hat. Well worth the effort, sitting in their courtyard garden and resting for an hour between work - what a lovely... More

I stopped here for a cup of tea and cake after arriving from London by train and then bus from Eastbourne, and before going on to walk along the Cuckmere river. This is a nice place for a generous pot of tea and a selection of cakes. The streusel (cinnamon and walnut cake) was dry and over-sweet, so next time... More

Thanks for your feedback. We always appreciate it. We're delighted that you enjoyed the visit. Sorry that the cake wasn't right for you. As a matter of principle we don't like people to pay money for something that they didn't enjoy. So let us know next time you come in and have a slice of cake on us. More
