Very grateful that we were accomodated late on a December night when our ferry was cancelled until morning. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We were accomodated with virtually no notice in 2 single rooms which were very clean, warm and comfortable with good showers. Furthermore, the owner came in early to do breakfast for those of us who... More

I only visited this place to meet up with family and to watch a live football match on Sky Sports. I have family in Seaford who recommended the place. It is a big place with accommodation above and what looks like a big restaurant. It was busy on a Tuesday evening when I visited but we went in to the... More

We reserved and ate here at lunch time during the week. Reluctantly served by miserable staff who dislike children. Drab boring interior. Food was poor to average (not cheap either). Strongly recommend choosing elsewhere.

Rooms are neat and clean. Staff is terrific. Location beautiful overlooking the sea (we were taking the morning ferry to France). As a benefit, they have a great restaurant with wonderful dishes. We had grilled salmon and steak pie. Had a chance to meet the owner. Good times.

Great value, great location, yummy breakfast and would highly recommend. The rooms and corridors have ust been refurbished and are clean and bright. The bedroom was spacious and well equipped. Our room was cleaned and the towels changed each day, not what you'd expect from a B&B. Wifi can be sketchy in the rooms but works perfectly in the breakfast... More

This pub is within walking distance of the town centre and from the moment we walked in to the moment we left we were very well looked after. The girl on reception was charming and helpful and showed us to our spacious room with a very nice sea view. It was spotlessly clean and well equipped, including a large flat... More

Clean, comfortable, friendly staff and very good breakfast including non cooked. I arrived on a Saturday night and the hotel was very busy with a function but the staff still found time to make sure I was OK and if I needed a meal etc. Yes it was noisy but this stopped at midnight and the owner came and spoke... This is little more than a scruffy pub with rooms above. We stayed on a Saturday night when they had a function on so were kept awake until the early hours by extremely loud music, loud conversations and a door constantly slamming. Large bedroom but the shower pressure was weak. The saving grace was the breakfast - a decent quailty... More

Three nights stay last week were extremely good To address a few previous problems...the hotel has just been through some renovation hence the scaffolding, which is nearly all gone now. Although the pub was busy and quite noisy two of our nights it never disturbed us(I am a light sleeper) and ended before midnight The rooms(my daughter and her family stayed... More

We stayed for 3 nights and have stayed a couple of times previously. The rooms are clean and adequate with tea/coffee, bottled water and have free wi-fi. Breakfast is nice with a good choice. Only negative comment is the noise from the pub! On the Friday and Saturday night the music was loud until 12.30am. I'm not a Party pooper... More
