Excellent, clean, warm and cosy. Delicious breakfast including home made muesli, yoghurt's, proper coffee and well cooked eggs etc., The dining room is like home from home with wooden floors, squashy sofa, comfortable dining chairs and restful decor with walls adorned with lovely paintings. Ian is the charming and delightful proprietor. Our room was smallish but had a comfortable double... More

A good example of a small town B and B at this rating level. Friendly owner, well decorated room, small shower room and a satisfactory breakfast. Good value at £75.Rye itself is a lovely place. Would have no problem staying here again. More

This is the third visit to Rye that my wife and I have made and the first staying at this particular hotel. For some reason a lot of the hotels in Rye were full this weekend, so there wasn't a great deal of choice available. So I picked what I thought was the best of the bunch. And I was... More

The evening before our arrival a friend and myself booked a room in the Old Borough Arms for 2 nights and got the amazing deal of £75.00!! We arrived the next day to a friendly check-in who helped us to our room. The inn is in a fantastic location, right at the foot of Mermaid St., and a close walk... More

We decided to go to Rye for the weekend at the last minute and got a great deal at the Old Borough Arms - £82 per room per night B&B - which was a lot cheaper than other hotels in the town. The Old Borough Arms is in a great location at the bottom of Mermaid Street and convenient for... More

I stayed one night on business trip and walked in here at 6.00pm. Glad I did. It's at bottom of Mermaid Street, the center of where you want to be, close to all the pubs and resteraunts. The room was a very nicely decorated double with a very comfortable bed and a brand new very smart bathroom with a huge walk... I'm just back from a little stay in Rye. I had been to Rye recently and saw Old Borough Arms from the outside. I was pleasantly suprised when I checked their website to see how gorgeous the inside was. Outside is a very traditional, beautiful old bulding, but the inside in modern, and clean and very comfortable. The steps leading... More

We stayed at the Old Borough Arms for 2 nights at the end of October. The guest house is a really old building and looks gorgeous from the outside. Our room was a double ensuite on the ground floor - quite small but really cosy and decorated in a modern, neutral style with a nice ensuite and good quality shower.... More

We had a lovely stay at this B &B. We had a very friendly welcome. The building itself is gorgeous - although there are alot of steps to get up to the front door. Our room was ok no.7, very clean and nicely decorated - our booking was quite last minute so this was the only room left. When we... More
