First time visit to this fascinating and historic area. Booked The Old Vicarage in January. Our room (The Martello Room) was comfortable, immaculately clean and beautifully furnished. The bathroom was very modern with a marvellous shower. Tracey and Simon were very knowledgeable of the area and providing us with an excellent breakfast each morning. We had a most enjoyable and... The Old Vicarage at Rye Harbour is gorgeous. We stayed in the Marsh Room for 5 nights and it felt like home, better than home as Tracey cooked and Simon served a great breakfast. They also provide on request an evening meal at £20 a head which we took advantage of one evening. There was a menu to choose from... More

The Old Vicarage at Rye Harbour, is everything you would wish for in a B&B - especially the hosts Simon and Tracey! breakfast is excellent with every thing you could wish for. I also would recommend taking them up on the offer of an evening meal,

Our first visit to the Old Vicarage, and we were delighted with the welcome from both Simon and Tracy, and their continuing hospitality throughout our stay. The Martello Room was a most comfortable, spacious and quiet room overlooking the coastal part of the Nature Reserve. Breakfast was superb, and really set you up for the day! Simon and Tracy have... We stayed for 3 nights to explore Rye and the surrounding area and The Old Vicarage was definitely a good choice! Tracey and Simon welcome guests like they are old friends - they clearly love running this B&B. Too say it is a comfortable place is an understatement; after 3 nights we were reluctant to leave and would have happily... More

Made to feel very welcome by Simon and Tracey on our arrival. Our room was beautifully decorated and Simon was very helpful in organising a cab for our night out into Rye. The B&B is situated perfectly for a lovely walk after the delicious breakfast in the morning. Would highly recommend.

A very good B&B. Really nice people, lovely room, comfortable bed, excellent breakfast. The only downside? The view of the Martello tower was across an ugly concrete car park. When we were there the weather was terrible, but I'm sure in good weather the garden would,be lovely to sit and enjoy a coffee and a book. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for four nights and could not have wished for a better B&B. Over the years we have stayed in many B&Bs ranging from the excellent through the average to the dreadful, and I have to say that the Old Vicarage at Rye Harbour is one of the very best - if not the very best - we... More

Located opposite the harbour and nature reserve this is a very relaxing place to stay. The house is large with a lovely front garden where a summerhouse and decking area are available for guests use. We stayed in the Marsh room which is the smallest of the three rooms available but was more than adequate for our 4 night stay.... More

We stayed at the Old Vicarage just before the late May bank holiday. We were made to feel very welcome and the room (the Martello room) was lovely with a very comfortable bed and fantastic shower. It was also great to have free wifi and mineral water in the room. Tracey and Simon made us feel very welcome (tea and... More
