Lovely B&B, the room was great with amazing views over the harbour, the owners couldn't have been more helpful, booking taxis etc. and the food was excellent, especially as it was locally sourced and freshly made, well worth a visit.

We arrived at The Old Vicarage for a couple of nights away. We were met with a warm welcome & a tray of tea & coffee & homemade shortbread! What a great start! The room was comfortable & the towels were lovely! The breakfast was good quality & beautifully cooked & presented with home made muffins! We were treated to... More

Found this place on the web and arrived to a very friendly welcome, a cup of tea and a piece of shortbread to die for! The accommodation was well thought through and extremely comfortable, the breakfast superb and a place that we would have no second thoughts about revisiting. And loads of marvellous art work to enjoy!

Down to Rye for a wedding, sadly weather cold, which could not be said of our hosts Simon & Tracey's warm welcome, we arrived and were offered tea and home made shortbread, what a welcome. Our room was perfect, the bed comfortable and a newly refurbished en suite was fabulous. Breakfast was a triumph, we did not need lunch, especially... More

Splendid welcome from Simon and Tracey - very friendly hosts, but not at all intrusive. Very comfortable and well-appointed luxury b&b, within easy reach of the unspoilt and highly picturesque town of Rye. We recommend the Ambrette in Rye for an evening meal - innovative Indian cuisine to a very high standard at very reasonable cost. The Old Vicarage is... More

My friends found and booked this property for a little weekend away from London and though it was ranked 2 of 34 on TripAdvisor and I had had a quick look at their website and a few other places in the Rye area I didn't have high expectations of the B&B, which I normally don't stay in. Well as you... More

I stayed here with my husband, daughter and son-in-law for one night, and we were warmly welcomed by Simon and Tracey who offered us tea and delicious home-made shortbread while we settled in. My husband and I opted for the Marsh bedroom, with two very comfortable single beds and an en-suite shower-room. The bedroom is rather small but well-appointed and... More
