Fifth year, six visits and still as good as the first time. Only stayed in Aiken Suite before but Lowry Suite was no disappointment. Have to return just to test out the other rooms! How they keep such high standards and enthusiasm consistently is amazing but we will keep coming back just to make sure Richard keeps up the high... More

What a lovely B&B,the house is in a great location on one of Rye's prettiest cobbled streets. The house is tastefully decorated very quaint, rooms spotless. Wonderful breakfast my husband can recommend the Devilled Kidneys. The owners and staff were extremely pleasant and helpful certainly I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Superb Guest House, steeped in history in a prime location to enjoy what Rye has to offer. Enjoyed the bounty on offer in the honesty bar. The choice of breakfast was one of the finest we've had. Highly recommend the Devilled Kidneys and they provided Gluten Free bread. The room was clean and had all necessary room facilities and the... More

Another great stay at JH. One cannot fault the quality of the facilities and the excellent service you receive here. Our three night stay was wonderful, thoroughly enjoyed Rye and its wonderful history. Breakfast again an highlight and cannot recommend this facility highly enough. Oh and the honesty bar - great just sitting with a cold ale and reading!!

We had a week at Jeakes House in late June and had a fantastic time. The welcome was incredibly warm and we felt at home immediately. The whole place is so tastefully furnished and decorated and has a very cosy honesty bar, great for a nightcap . Our room was comfortable, spacious and quaint. Breakfasts are quite an event offering... More

The best place to stay in the heart of Rye. Intelligently executed traditional style interiors, to an 11 bed roomed award wining guest house. Hosted by two lovely hands on owners! Breakfast is first class in a grand space. A highly recommended stay.

I wanted a traditional English Christmas in a special location to surprise my French wife. - - - - The lovely town of Rye provided the location with its cobbled streets and wonderful atmosphere, then, the sight of Jeake's house confirmed I had chooses well. But nothing prepared us for the reception we got on entering this frantastic B&B. Everything... More

Currently had 2 of 3 nights. Exceeded expectations. The Apothecary Room is extremely comfortable. Breakfast is top rate (haddock to die for). It's more than a B&B with luxury honesty bar. Go on, treat yourself. We did.

We spent 2 nights at Jeake's House for my birthday and had a great stay. We were in the 'Elders Attic' room. We took our labrador Monty and wondered how he would cope with the steep stairs, but he managed very well. The room was a great size, with a double (and single bed to the side). We overlooked the...
