Cant really fault this place accommodation was excellent and the breakfast was exceptional. Very nice people, location is in center of town so close to everything. If I ever go back to Rye I would stay again.

This was our first visit to Rye and we were not disappointed. Jeakes House is in the quietest and most picturesque part of town and Jenny and Richard were helpful and charming hosts. The private car park was a added bonus as parking is in short supply. Our room was lovely, though beware low beams if you are tall and the... More

We are regular visitors to Rye and have stayed at most of the places in the area but always find our stays at Jeakes House to be the most memorable. Jenny and Richard are the perfect hosts, the accomodation is stylish and elegant, and the breakfasts are simply wonderful. These are an ecletic mix of traditional and different; I love... More

This is a lovely B&B. We stayed in the Elder's Attic. The room was huge with a double and a single bed and a huge, modern bathroom. All the little details added up to a great stay, like huge fluffy towels and complimentary bathrobes. The full English breakfast was adaptable to a vegan diet and the hosts were lovely. The... More

We had a 2 night stay at Jeake's House in late July. We had a very comfortable stay. We were in the Lowry suite, nicely appointed in blue and cream and with a four poster bad. The position is very good and it is so nice to be able to stroll around Rye at all times, but especially in the... More

Lovely room with great views across Rye. Very welcoming, and breakfast is superb with a great range options in addition to the expected "full English". Most rooms are en suite, we were aware that ours wasn't, but the private bathroom was straight opposite, and very charming, decorated to tie in with our room. The building is old, quirky and very... Refined, elegant Jeakes House proved the perfect place for a quick escape in late July. We stayed in the opulent Radclyffe Hall suite, with its large four-poster bed with solid carved wooden posts and beautiful draped fabrics. This is a through room, with a window looking out over Mermaid Street at the front and some rooftops but no overlooking windows... More

Myself and two girlfriends have just returned home after a lovely time in Rye. Jeake's B&B is just absolutely a little gem. We stayed in the family room and you cannot fault the attention to detail that has gone into making this place just perfect. Every part of our stay was just lovely, so relaxing and comfortable. One of the... More

So pleased we found Jeake's House for our first visit to Rye. Great central location, parking facilities were a definite benefit, fantastic accommodation, chic and stylish and very clean. We chose the bedroom with private bathroom (not en-suite) and this was perfectly adequate, being directly opposite the bedroom and probably more spacious than an en-suite bathroom. The breakfast was delicious... More

Superb b&b. Kept beautifully and stylish. We went for a quick weekend break from London and this b&b was a perfect choice for tranquil escape. Delicious breakfast (sometimes takes time to arrive BUT hosts will make sure you are not sitting hungry on the empty table - oh no!) Fresh fruits, fresh juices, warm toast, home made marmalade - that... More
