I stay at the White Vine frequently and often book extra rooms for business contacts. Once I've given the details to Javed, I know that nothing is too much trouble and my clients will be impressed and relaxed. Early breakfasts, late arrivals, extra booking at last minute all dealt with efficiently. The rooms are comfortable and elegant, the food is... More

Lesley and I would like to thank you, on behalf of us all, for making our celebration of Lesley‘s birthday in Rye with our family such a delight ("RaRa" is Grandma) . White Vine House is simply superb, the food was delightful; the warm welcome, hospitality and kindness shown to us by you and your staff were truly wonderful. The... More

Javed is a great host and his staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is lovely. Room 3 is large and comfortable. The bath fits two. It is a lovely place in which to relax. The restaurant has now changed to The Ambrette, which serves fine dining with some Indian flavours. A curry house this isn't. The dining staff are... More

We recently held my Fathers Birthday weekend at the hotel. The rooms were comfortable and stylish and the new bathrooms were really well appointed and decorated. The thing that really sets this place apart is that it is not pretentious, the owner, Javed, will doing anything to make the occassion as special as possible and it has bags of character. More

We recently had our wedding at this wonderful venue and were not disappointed. We only wanted a small intimate venue and this suited perfectly; we knew from the onset when Javed the owner firstly asked what we wanted out of the day and went out of his way to make this happen with ease. The place is friendly; beautifully decorated... More

It is more than just a bed and breakfast, the hotel is a stunning building, part of which dates back to Elizabethan times, the rooms have an classic with a twist look, that makes one feel as if you are staying in... Stayed in the family room on Saturday night. Very comfortable room and beautiful big bathroom. Quiet and cosy. Breakfast was beautifully presented and delicious too! Fantastic host Javed. Thankyou. Stunning historic pre-Elizabethan features. (the hotel not the host!) More

My family and I recently visited England and wanted to get a taste of the country outside of London so we decided upon Rye. We were absolutely thrilled with our experience at the White Vine House! We were invited to have tea in the sitting room with the proprietor who told us of the fascinating history of the building. Later... More

We stayed here for one night and were impressed by how tastefully everything was laid out including the bathroom which was lovely as well as the natural toiletries. The oak panelling was a treat and the breakfast very nicely presented! The service was really friendly too. All in all it was very good value considering how luxurious the hotel is. More
