We wanted somewhere central to stay for our visit to Rye over August bank holiday, and after reading the nice reviews decided on White Vine House. Booking was easy, and we had all necessary information beforehand. We arrived at around 11.30am and found a parking space on the high street quite a way from the hotel. We spent some time... More

Wow, wow, wow is all I can say. We were planning to stay one night but because we loved it so much we stayed two. The rooms are amazing with all the latest mod cons but hidden in a way that allows you to appreciate the real character of this historical building. The rooms are specious and we stayed in... More

We spent a night here at the end of June to explore Rye and Camber Sands. On arrival the owner came out and welcomed us, his enthusiasm for the building and what he's done to it is clear to see. The room was big a spacious, with a huge bed and a sofa, and lots of character. We dined in... More

Parking was instantly a nightmare. Despite being informed that free parking was outside, there was never any spaces and the other £1.50 a day car park was out of use wed/thurs due to the town market. We ended up parking quite a way from the hotel and paying £5 per day. We arrived early and the gentleman was kind enough... More

We booked the family attic room for one night en route to Canterbury and were not disappointed . Javed was extremely helpful before the visit, with lots of email communication to give us driving directions from Gatwick and parking tips. Parking is not onsite, but we easily found a park on the street outside. Our room was on the top... More

We were, sadly, disappointed by White Vine House before we even arrived; Javed double booked the four-poster bedroom we hoped for our first anniversary. He offered us a bottle of fizz on arrival to compensate for us getting the lesser room (remarkably at the same price) but there was no sign of that and no apology offered at all. The... More

Having stayed at a lot of hotels, I thought I had seen quality but the white vine takes it to new levels. The hotel itself is beautiful and very well decorated. The room has every thing you could need, a Huge comfy bed ( best sleep I have had all year) the bath was so big and luxurious, I had... More

We stayed here for a couple of nights in the beginning of June and we were blown away. From the moment you walk in the door, there is an instant wow factor and that wow factor continues until the moment you walk back out the door. Our room was HUGE! With a stunning four poster bed and beautiful bathroom fit... More

We stayed here for one night while visiting Rye over the bank holiday weekend. I can't recommend the place more, the hotel is simply fantastic. We received excellent service, a very friendly welcome which made us feel right at home. The room was spotlessly clean with some lovely extra amenities, very comfortable crisp bed sheets. We had dinner in the... More

My wife and I had a short stay in this hotel in the beautiful town of Rye. The hotel is packed with charm and character. The hosts could not do enough for us. The room was very spacious (room 4), comfortable and had everything we could need. The breakfast was one of the best I have had and was included... More
