Very friendly place to stay, great views of the harbour and beyond from our room. A free car permit allowed us to park by the Hotel which was reached via the quaint cobbled streets. Dinner, bed and breakfast package was excellent value. Would visit again. more

I agree with all the other good reviews, well trained friendly staff, good food and service and great value for money. We had the mid-week special where one can choose any room that is available. What a good selling point! We went for the cottage which if one accepts is not like a modern hotel suite, was small and quaint... more

We stayed at the hotel for one night on the 11th June. Used sat nav to find our way to Rye and was glad we did as would not have believed Hotel could be up a narrow cobbled street. But it was and the character of the streets and buildings up to our hotel was fab, it was like stepping... more

This is the finest hotel in Rye, You can stay at the George or Mermaid Inn aswell, but the Hope has a lovely end of road location over looking Rye Harbour and Camber Sands, Makes a great location for weekenders or even a short week stay. Children friendly but breakfast starts at 9am - so bit late for early birds... more

Stayed here for 3 nights in June 2009. What amazing value on a mid week special, £310 in total including 3 course dinner with wine, any room so we chose the Admirals apartment. This is very large, with 2 bedrooms, lounge, small kitchen and patio overlooking the marshes out to sea. Parking ok as hotel provide permit for street parking.... more

All the medieval beauty is literary outside the hotel doorstep - or your window. I actually regret we didn stay longer in our room - but we just couldn't help but stroll around Rye, checking out cafes or just resting in a shade. service was attentive and friendly, with almost family feel to it so we didn't even mind a... more

Having a belated Birthday break with my partner, we choose this hotel as the reviews suggested a excellent hotel, However we was disappointed to be put in a very small room that was constantly too hot, the big disappointment was the bed which was wonky & seemed to have a plastic cover on the mattress, which was awful at night... more

Don't visit Rye off season if you want life and party! Most attractions seemed closed. However for a relaxing weekend it was perfect. The hotel is reached with diffculty down winding narrow streets, for once though SatNav spot on! It is perched high on the "cliff" at the west end of the town with excellent views, and it is certainly... more

From arriving to leaving we found the hotel to be fantastic. We had a 2 night dbb break which was fantastic value . We were able to choose anything from the a la carte menu plus a bottle of house wine per night included. The food was superb and included local produce. Our room was delightful and staff friendly. We... more
