My partner and I stayed here recently and we had a fab time. The grounds are beautiful and the spa and other facilities are good. Only disapointment is how far it is from Rye (we thought we could walk) but the hotel itself is very nice and the staff were very friendly. more

My wife and i have just returned from a 1 night stay at this fabulous hotel. We spent the night here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. On arriving we had been given a free upgrade and the staff could not do enough for us. I arranged for flowers and champagne to be placed in our room for a suprise for... more

The purpose of the visit was a murder mystery weekend to celebrate a 40th birthday which we were all looking forward to but none of us got to experience after leaving the premises the following day. We arrived at the hotel to be very disappointed with the property and the fact it was off a very busy road with very... more

We have just come back from staying at this hotel for 3 nights & had a lovely time. Our room was upgraded free of charge to a four poster room - which was very nice & airy. The room was of a good size with good facilities and kept very clean. The restaurant was of a high standard with very... more

We were disappointed with our stay at the Flackley Ash Hotel, We were hoping for a romantic luxury one night stay but were left feeling ripped off. It is incredibly overpriced for what it is... We thought we were on there Sunday night special offer, but when we checked out it came to much more than we were expecting... The... more

We paid £25 a night extra for a large room and this was well worth it to us, we also got a room on the first floor overlooking the garden and wildlife. Most rooms are on the ground floor although there are steps down from the old building to the new. Access to the pool was the closest of several... more

We visited Flackley Ash last weekend, from start to finish the experience was fantastic! We had a warm greeting from the receptionist who was very friendly and helpfull and gave us lots of information about things to do in the area (as we had never been to this part of the country) We were taken to our room, which was... more

We stayed here for a weekend. The room was small and dull, more like the typical English B&B than a proper hotel. There was a bit of tackiness, like a can of air freshener in the bathroom, and crappy little signs saying Don't Wash Sandy Things in the Basin. The lobby could have been pretty, but was made ugly by... more

My husband and I arrived at Flackley Ash for a Valentine's weekend. The hotel is in a most beautiful country setting and the main building is a Georgian mansion. From the beginning we found the staff very friendly and helpful and we were not at all pressurised. Our room was fantastic ,with lovely matching furniture, all in antique pine.Even the large... more

We booked a two day break, and from the moment we arrived at the Hotel we were very impressed. The staff were friendly and helpful, even to posting our christmas cards!. Our room was lovely, clean and well furnished. The sports facilities were clean, warm and well presented. We will definitely return in the New Year and recommend this Hotel... more
