This was a last minute decision to stay in Rye and find somewhere comfortable and central. The Rye Lodge Hotel worked perfect, It has a private car park (very helpful), the rooms are decorated to a certain era and were clean /spacious. We had to stay in 2 different rooms due to our late booking, there was no doubt the... More

We stayed for 2 nights on a KGB deal. We had a nice room(quite old fashioned but very comfortable) the members of staff were all very friendly and the breakfast was cooked to order. It is very convenient and has a car park which is a huge benefit in Rye. If you like modern forget it but for a friendly... More

Had a wonderful weekend at this hotel, the dining around experience was super and The Ambrette restaurant was world class. The staff at the hotel were very helpful and the champagne bar outstanding. The pool area was clean and well kept.

We stopped here for one night and were not disappointed. Cosy room, comfortable bed and wifi functioned well most of the time. Friendly staff and great breakfast. Great place to wander around from. Parking difficult but manageable.

We had afternoon tea at the Rye Lodge hotel on a nice sunny day. The tea was good, with the usual small selection of sandwiches, scones and fruit cake. The service was very good and friendly and the whole atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. Much less formal than for example in a London hotel. A glass of champagne at a... More

Our room was amazing and staff lovely. The car park was a little difficult to find but was given a map which made life a little easier. Small swimming pool but great for dip. Dined at ambrette an received half bottle of champagne for staying at rye lodge. Perfect. Would definitely recommend the hotel an intend to return.

Room was amazing, all brass wall lights and plaster mouldings (we even had a plaster bust on a pedestal!). Car park was a bit of a b----r to find at first, didn't realise we could unload outside and a member of staff would navigate us to it! As the weather was kind, we had our full'English' on the balcony, generous... More

We stayed here for 6 nights at the end of May and we loved it! I had booked the smallest room type but it was still very comfortable. We had to move to another room after the lights in the bathroom stopped working but Michael was very helpful when this happened. The new room was bigger which was a bonus.... More

During a business travel to UK, I stayed at Rye Lodge for a couple of nights. I must say that I am amazed by the hospitality of the staff and also by the classic look of this hotel. It is designed in a very traditional and beautiful style, combining the renowned British architecture with all the requirements of the modern... More
