We recently stayed in this motel and spent £65 on one night there. The lady in reception was polite, friendly and very helpful so allayed my initial misgivings (it was the only place with rooms available on a bank holiday). There is a bed, a table with coffee/tea making facilities, a hair dryer, a single bedside table with a lamp.... More

We stayed here for two nights, having read positive reviews on Tripadvisor. We were very pleased with the accommodation - we had everything we needed in the room, which was spotlessly clean. The young woman on reception was very friendly - so can highly recommend as a low-cost base for exploring Rye and East Sussex. Breakfast not included, but there's... More

My wife and I had a one night stay and were both pleasantly surprised by the size and standard of the room. The friendly staff had stayed on as arranged a little later to check us in and the room was clean and perfect for a cheap night away. Highly recommended and great value, the nearest cafe we could find... More

We stayed here for one night and had a room at the top of the stairs - lots of stairs so left the suitcase in the car and took what we needed up. The room was budget but tastefully decorated, very clean, comfortable bed and nice hot shower. value for money for an overnight stay - we got there at... More

We had the room at the top of the stairs and had a view and a quiet room. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean and roomy. Modern makeover with basic fittings. Kettle. Free wifi worked fine. No breakfast available. Police station opposite so safe area. Car parking. Good location.

Visiting Rye for a friend's wedding- this was the best value place by far, although when you add in the price of breakfast it stops looking quite so cheap. Continually woken up by noise from outside & the beds aren't the best... Nor are the showers! Although, our room was perfectly clean and parking was free.

Centrally located and price wise it ticked the box. Most rooms are furnished cheaply and identical giving a very "budget"look to the place. All rooms are on the first floor above shops and we were awoken by people constantly in and out of a refrigerated lorry underneath our window.Stair carpets looked worn and tired and in dire need of a clean.... Excellent price (£65 for 1 night/2 people) in a fairly expensive town. Decent location close to this beautiful town (5 minutes walk to High Street, everything within 15 minutes at most). Parking at back (8 spaces for 9 rooms but, apparently, rarely a problem)... and right next door to police station! A 'DIY hotel' with limited check-in times (very clear... More

Found the Regent Motel on Late Rooms and booked it straight away as it was my other half's Birthday and he was keen to get away for a few days. Having stayed in Rye on previous occasions we kind of had a rough idea of the Regents location But we were really pleased when we found it, ideal location with... More

I am a frequent visitor to Rye, mostly I rent a cottage but for short stays I have stayed here twice with my son, this time he was competing in the Lydd Half marathon. Seamless check in from a very charming young lady, polite and efficient. Our rooms were ideal for a short stay, comfortable beds, tv, hot water showers... More
