My hubby and I decided to treat ourselves to a night away in Rye, whilst our daughter had a few of her friends over to celebrate her birthday. We definitely did the right thing by choosing this lovely warm and welcoming hotel. No parking issues - and an easy 8-10 min stroll into the town. Rita and Sam are very... More

The four seasons is a short walk to Rye, the hospitality extended by Rita & Sam is friendly and homely. The bedrooms have lovely views out over the marshes and beyond. Breakfast was served in great portions and beautifully cooked, with good local produce being used. Having never visited Rye before we were surprised at how quaint it was. A... More

I have stayed here a couple of times when playing golf at Rye. The rooms are a good size and clean. The owners are very friendly and attentive and seem to genuinely enjoy talking to their guests. Although it is not right in the centre of Rye it is an easy ten minute walk into the town. I would definitely... More

The owners,Rita and Sam are lovely people.Very friendly and easy going, putting every body at ease. The breakfast choice was vast:cereals, yogurts, orange juice, water, endless tea or coffee, toast AND full english if so desired. All served in a pretty dining room looking out onto the garden. I went with my mum for 2 nights and she really had a nice time,as did I of course.... More

I very much enjoyed my weekend stay at this lovely bed & breakfast, run by a very friendly and helpful couple who have lots of good advice what to do in and around Rye and make you feel at home. It's a great location (walking distance from the town centre) and has a nice little garden with a great view... More

Friendly welcome from Rita & Sam, great location (it's a 5-10 minutes walk to the centre of Rye), lovely garden views at the back and solid breakfast in the morning. The rooms are very clean, cosy, though perhaps a little dated but we did not mind. You may even witness a visit from Steve (the seagull) in the morning at... More

Wow, what a great place and wonderful people for our hosts. This gem is just a10 min walk from Rye Town, so you can leave the car in the driveway! Rita is the best as your host and together with husbane Sam your stay will be a good one. Rooms are equipped with everything and are very tastfully decorated. Views... More

My wife and I have traveled to Rye for over 20 years and we have stayed at the Four Seasons for the past 15 years. The rooms are clean, the food is wonderful, and the owners are very interesting and fun. Lively conversation, nice rooms, good food and great price - the Four Seasons is the only place we stay... My husband and I made our first trip to England with longtime friends who introduced us to the Four Seasons Bed & Breakfast where they've stayed for the last several years. We were absolutely delighted by Sam and Rita and their B & B. They are truly the friendliest, sweetest, and funniest couple we have met in a very long... More

Forget the over-priced hotels and terrible parking in the centre of Rye, this is a much better place to stay! It's an easy 15min stroll into town, and very quiet at night. Our room was absolutely spotless, tastefully decorated in a country style, with a collection of surprisingly fine prints and ornaments. Breakfast was perfectly cooked, with great coffee and... More
