Pleasant, well-appointed room with character, not to mention complimentary cake and coffee on arrival! Excellent location and a breakfast that was quite exceptionally good, pleasant and efficient staff. I would definitely recommend Hayden's for anyone visiting Rye.

We spent an early July weekend here without our children, for the first time in ages. We know Rye fairly well, though we hadn't been for a long time, but it was our first visit to Hayden's. Very comfortable and well appointed, handily in centre of Rye. The breakfasts were absolutely awesome - fantastic choice including Eggs Benedict, which I... More

My husband and I visited Rye and stopped at Hayden's for lunch.....absolutely yummy! Relaxing, comfortable and fabulous food. We don't live far away, maybe far enough to return for a weekend break!! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Can't rate highly enough. Fantastic attention to detail. Great staff. Perfect location. Don't hesitate to book. Every year we have a cycling holiday and stop at various b and b en route. we always expect to find an excellent one and a really bad one. As usual we did. Haydens at Rye was the excellent one on this years tour.

My partner and I spent three nights at Hayden's as a birthday treat for me. We've had mini-breaks in Rye before, staying twice at The George - a very fine (expensive) hotel if a little impersonal. Each time we're in Rye we visit Hayden's for coffee or lunch, and the rooms looked super so we decided to give them a... More

Stayed here for 2 nights over the May bank holiday in the Mulberry room. From the moment we arrived the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. The room was excellent, very well looked after and clean. The breakfast delicious with everything from fresh fruit to a vast cooked menu. Everything we had from the full English to... More

Best breakfasts we have had anywhere, with excellent selection of fruit, juices and numerous cooked options. Welcomed with delicious tea and cakes (it is also a tea shop). Room spacious and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good location on the High St, with views over the marshes from the terrace outside the dining room.

I just thought I would thank all of the wonderful staff at Hayden's for making the night before and the morning of my wedding so relaxing. Your rooms are amazing, breakfast in the garden was brilliant too. Sorry for turning the coffee shop into a photo shoot yesterday morning too. Next time we are in Rye we will pop in... More

My husband and I came to Rye for the weekend of 4th-6th April to celebrate his birthday. We'd been before to celebrate our second wedding anniversary last September and stayed at The Mermaid (see my other reviews) and been hugely disappointed. We booked a room at Haydens on the strength of the fantastic reviews here on Tripadvisor and, in many... More
