I just thought I would thank all of the wonderful staff at Hayden's for making the night before and the morning of my wedding so relaxing. Your rooms are amazing, breakfast in the garden was brilliant too. Sorry for turning the coffee shop into a photo shoot yesterday morning too. Next time we are in Rye we will pop in... More

My husband and I came to Rye for the weekend of 4th-6th April to celebrate his birthday. We'd been before to celebrate our second wedding anniversary last September and stayed at The Mermaid (see my other reviews) and been hugely disappointed. We booked a room at Haydens on the strength of the fantastic reviews here on Tripadvisor and, in many... More

The Chocolate Room, where we stayed for 2 nights was surprisingly large and very comfortable and overlooked the High Street in Rye. Staff were really friendly and a big plus is the fact that it's also a restaurant serving breakfasts and teas & cakes during the day. The norm in a hotel is that once breakfast service is over you... Easy booking, very friendly and personalised welcome, first class well appointed room, but it gets better. Complimentary tea and cake on arrival in the tea room on the ground floor, but it gets better, the breakfast was the best I have had in any hotel world wide.

We cannot praise this lovely little destination enough. The staff were really friendly and helpful, not never intrusive and the room was exquisite and peaceful, overlooking the Romney Marsh. Cake and tea on arrival and the best breakfast, both of which we took on a sunny terrace, with the fragrance of jasmine floating in the air. Truly exceptional value and... More

This B&B is truly special. The owners and staff are so so friendly and really informative about the local area - basically anything you would like to know or need - just ask! Very helpful. The B&B is absolutely stunning and really comfortable. Loads of beatiful touches like beatiful toiletries and bathrobes in the rooms. The breakfast is something else!!... More

Having been here for brunches and afternoon teas before, and our two favourite hotels (The George and The Ship Inn) being full, we came here for a weekend break of 2 nights. If you've read my other reviews you'll know that I often find snags, especially if somewhere isn't as advertised or is over-priced. BUT this place is a gem... More

We were met with a warm welcome when we arrived at Haydne's for our overnight stay in Rye; the complimentary coffee and cake were very nice. Haydne's is very well positioned, within easy walking distance of most things. Our rooms were very comfortable, and all four of us enjoyed our different breakfast selections. Haydne's made our stay a great stay,... More

I've tried many restaurants in Rye now and this is by far the best place to come for breakfast or lunch. As soon as you walk in, you are made to feel welcome, the young lad greeted myself and my partner and offered us a seat, such politeness and courtesy. The waitress who served us explained the breakfast menu, as... More

Stayed one night in Indigo in awful weather - greeted by Richard with a welcoming glass of wine. Beautifully furnished and appointed throughout, lovely bathroom and very comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast (very flexible times). Will stay again.
