Everything in the bad reviews (at the end of these reviews) was doubled for us. The first thing I noticed was the smell of oil from an oil aga. I thought it was completely poisonous. The conspicuous consumption could have been swapped for some maintenance. And how long does it take to make two or three home-made signs to just... more

We found Leasam Farm Oast on the internet and booked a three night break. As others have said, the owner wasn't home when we arrived but kept in constant contact with us during our journey to let us know who would be available when we arrived. We were looking for somewhere to stay that was relaxing and a million miles... more

Leasam Farm Oast is a stunning old Oast House over looking breathtaking countryside near Rye. You will be welcomed and entertained by the dogs, horses and pigs and really expected to make yourself at home in this gorgeous property and given plenty of space by all except the dogs. The Oast isn't licensed so you take your own - making... more

we had the most amazing time. the house is beautiful. we stayed in the oast room, with one kingsize bed which was sooo comfy. the kids were in a bed next to us which they fitted in nicely together, it was full of covers and cushions and they loved it! Everyone made you feel so welcome and nothing was too... more

we stayed here for a weekend break, after spending ages finding the place, we were like other reviewers, greeted by two unwelcome big dogs jumping all over us. The lane outside was a sea of mud, forget wearing nice shoes here. The place was down at heel, dirty and smelt of wet dog, the bedroom itself was not as expected... more

We had such a relaxed, quirky, out of the ordinary time, we will be returning next weekend to celebrate my 25th!!! :) Yes, perhaps it is all down to expectations...but i would expect a country b&b to be a home a away from home, a haven which is a million miles from timekeeping and regimented 9 to 5's..Ali is a... more

We have never stayed at a B&B before, usually hotels or self-catering. If Leasam Farm Oast is a typical B&B we won't be staying at another B&B! We arrived late afternoon and had to go in search of someone to show us our room. We were told by this person (no-one introduced anybody during our stay) that our room had... more

We have just returned from an overnight stay at Leasam Farm Oast and our experience mirrors that of the pearlier reviewer Trout 8989. the Oast is in a beautiful spot (although access is really only suited to 4x4s) The dogs do indeed welcome you but as the previous reviewer mentions the remainder of the experience is a big disappointment. Cleanliness... more

We stayed overnight recently and are more than happy to recommend, especially to dog owners and those looking to stay somewhere a bit different. Our bedroom was the in a former Oast house; spacial, nicely decorated and a comfortable bed with an en-suite toboot. What more do you need for an overnight stay a side from a good breakfast and... more
