We took lunch my choice was a large fish and chips at the Dorset Friday 2nd March. The plate arrived with a deep oil slick around the perimeter, the fish when cut oozed fat and the chunky chips were so soggy that when cut they released a puddle of oil. After trying a couple of dog-friendly pubs we had looked-up beforehand but found full, we stumbled into this place. Made very welcome. We had a 2-course lunch and the food was very good. Quality preparation from a good chef I'd say.

stayed at the dorset with my partner. Got there late, tired went straight to bed. Next morning found dried blood on the underneath pillow case. Dirty marks on the sheets.
