We stayed here after dropping our daughter off at uni and had a lovely stay! The room was clean, spacious, beautifully decorated and finished to a very high standard. Our room had a smart tv. The carvery was excellent and great value. The staff were all very friendly and polite. This is great value only being a few miles down... More

Stayed here for 4 nights whilst working in Brighton. I found the staff very welcoming, beer good, excellent carvery for the money ( Change out of £6.50) Room was adequate for what I needed, down side was the sound of the kitchen extractor, but this was well muffled by the double glazing and was not intrusive. I would stay here... More

Went in here for a breakfast buffet and couldn't wait to get out. We walked in and stood for a good minute in clear view of the "manager" until she decided to get up and see us to a table, hardly spoilt for a choice as there was no one in there ( I wonder why) and we asked if... More

Dear Madam It was with great disappointment that I read your review of your recent breakfast visit to the hotel. I have to say the experience you write about has not been shared with the VAST majority of our guests. I’m sorry that the breakfast did not meet your expectations once it had been replenished and after clearing your plates.... More

I went here today with my young son and daughter, for a quick breakfast on our way out for the day. Oh my god, i think it was the worst experience we have ever had, we arrived at 10.55 and asked if they were still doing breakfast, she thrust a breakfast menu in our hand and said yes. it was... Went down today for my second roast! Carvery was way above board and the chef Tim personally came out and checked on our food and the service. Was pleasently surprised and very satisfied. Would definitely recommend to friends and family, this place has turned a corner from where it used to be.

After a day out in Lewes we decided to pop in for a drink as the garden looked so lovely, lush green. There is a great area for children to play. The decor is a little dated and the menu could look a bit fancier and there is some maintenance work going on. However do NOT let this put you... More

Decided to try the breakfast buffet a couple of weeks ago. Walked in. The place was very dark and dingy. The food on the buffet looked awful. So I left. It's not a place I have any desire to visit again.

We took our 2 daughters and 3 Grandchildren for the carvery. They were down for the weekend and wanted to go to the beach first so I actually rang and booked the table for 4 o clock . On arrival we paid £11.00 a head but were assured that this included a sweet. The chef was standing with his carving... More

We used this hotel recently and to be honest we were not impressed. First off for what they try to pass off as a budget hotel we were charged nearly 200 pounds for 2 nights. The room was small and had no air conditioning or fan in there which made it incredibly warm,,open the window to cool down and you... More
