We were unable to find a reasonably priced hotel with car parking in Brighton so looked for somewhere just outside. Newmarket Inn fitted the bill only 4 miles from Brighton. The room was spotless, flat screen TV, WiFi and comfortable bed. Good choice of breakfast, where you could help yourself to coffee or teas. We were warmly welcomed by the young... More

After being klet down at the last minute at another establishment I called the Newmarket and spoke to 'Claire' who was very professional with my request for accommodation and took my booking over the phone and as I was driving at the time didnt ask me for credit card details or anything like that to reserve a room. Upon arrival... More

Stayed here one night. Rooms are very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We had a sandwich for lunch on arrival ...substantial to say the least! Self service breakfast was excellent . Friendly down to earth management team. Would definitely stay again. Ideal for visiting students at the two universities in Brighton .

We arrived and the carvery was packed and had just finished........... No worries put your bags in your room and we will sort you out a table........ fantastic!!...... Nice Guinness and a table later we were off and running.... Lovely thick cuts of beef and turkey along with the veg and gravy, we ended up sitting down as people were... More

We visited the Newmarket Inn last week and were very disappointed with the carvery, especially as we had taken a friend and had told him that he would enjoy it. The meat we were given was on the mean side, to say the least, could have been as there was a group in on a long table and they possibly... More

Pulled in the Hotel purely by chance and were pleasantly surprised with the quality and quantity of the carvery.Without doubt the best Sunday carvery in the area.It was however a little disconcerting to see what was presumably the owner and his family curled up on chairs in the dining area. However we were early and the dinner more than made up... Had a one night stay 2nd October 2014 . Room 15 I did have a look on Trip AD as you do, as do spend a few nights away. (As the office does have an odd sense of humour every now and again?) So, in order.. Easy to find, great parking ( 7.5 ton lorry) nice welcome, clean tidy warm... More

We stayed here after dropping our daughter off at uni and had a lovely stay! The room was clean, spacious, beautifully decorated and finished to a very high standard. Our room had a smart tv. The carvery was excellent and great value. The staff were all very friendly and polite. This is great value only being a few miles down... More

Stayed here for 4 nights whilst working in Brighton. I found the staff very welcoming, beer good, excellent carvery for the money ( Change out of £6.50) Room was adequate for what I needed, down side was the sound of the kitchen extractor, but this was well muffled by the double glazing and was not intrusive. I would stay here... More

Went in here for a breakfast buffet and couldn't wait to get out. We walked in and stood for a good minute in clear view of the "manager" until she decided to get up and see us to a table, hardly spoilt for a choice as there was no one in there ( I wonder why) and we asked if... More

Dear Madam It was with great disappointment that I read your review of your recent breakfast visit to the hotel. I have to say the experience you write about has not been shared with the VAST majority of our guests. I’m sorry that the breakfast did not meet your expectations once it had been replenished and after clearing your plates.... More
