What a lovely place to stay, right in the Old Town and bursting with character. The rooms are very nice, with modern decor and comfy beds. Breakfast was very tasty indeed and taken in the sunny conservatory. The only downside would be the small size of the shower cubicle. Apart from that we would recommend highly.

We chose the Laindons for a mid week break in what should have been nice warm weather! In the event it was cold and rainy but thanks to this lovely place it didn't matter at all. We chose the room with the ensuite bathroom, which was huge and had a fantastic power shower and a big corner bath. The minute... More

This written in retrospect from 2011. Absolutely gorgeous place, run by Chrissie who was a wonderful host. Couldn't have asked for better for a first weekend away to Hastings.

We have just returned from a 2 night stay at the Laindons run by a lovely lady called Chrissie. The house is gorgeous. The rooms superb. Breakfast to die for. Great position in the old town. All in all we had a fab weekend and will definitely be going back again later in the year.

We stayed at this lovely B&B situated in the historic 'Old Town' Hastings over the Easter period. Our room was spacious, beautifully furnished with a bay window and period fireplace. Every detail was attended to. The dining/sitting room was also furnished in a contemporary style, very tastefully. There was also a conservatory area which was very comfortable. The breakfast menu... My partner took me as a surprise to stay in this wonderful B&B. We were greeted by the kind and extremely professional owner and guided to our beautiful room. I am slightly delayed in writing this review as we stayed in August 2011 but felt that I must write it as it truly is a wonderful place to reside for... More

The house is ideally placed in the heart of the very picturesque and interesting Old Town, but not affected by noise (apart from the town's completely bonkers seagulls who seem to never sleep, see below). The owner was welcoming and the interior is very well arranged, with good sized bedrooms and excellent facilities, including good quality toiletries and coffee/tea making... More

We had a really comfortable stay in a lovely part of the Old Town. Great care has been taken to make this a very high quality B&B. A real plus was fresh milk and ground coffee (Lyons coffee bags - I didn't know they still existed - other hoteliers please take note) instead of instant (yeuch) in the rooms. Coffee... More
