A hidden gem in Hastings. Hosts were friendly and accommodating. Coffee and breakfast were delicious. A good night sleep away from home. Well worth it! It is a place I would go back to and hope to do so soon!

I was pleased to find The Laindons in one of my web searches for B and Bs in Hastings . Over the years I have stayed in various places , some of which now have out boutique - ed themselves and are ridiculously expensive...come on , its Hastings !!! ( not Paris..) . The Laindons is just right , the... More

We had a fantastic stay at the laindons. The rooms were large and very nicely furnished with superb linen and towels. There was a comfortable lounge and terrace for breakfast. I would go back just for the breakfast. Fresh home made bread and home roasted coffee with your full English, could not be beaten.

It was time for a weekend out of London and Hastings was out first choice having has many happy family holidays here. I found the Laindons through trip advisor as it had great reviews, the location is perfect and it was one of the few places that would let me book for one night at the weekend. We were not... More

Fab find situated in the heart of the Old Town. Stayed in room 2, stylish decor, light and airy. The Laindons is under new ownership and they were very helpful with great restaurant recommendations, we chose Cafe Maroc (superb.)The next morning the sun was shining and we had breakfast in the conservatory overlooking East Cliff. The charming and hospitable new owners of The Laindons have remade the spaces in this beautiful old town house into stylish and gently chic rooms which are a pleasure to spend time in, relaxing and extremely comfortable. Our spacious and beautifully appointed bedroom received evening light and morning sun with convivial seating and generous coffee table in the bay window... More

Me and my partner went to Hastings for a weekend by the sea. The Laindons looks great on the website and didn't disappoint in reality. We stayed in room 1, which was far bigger than we expected. There was a great bed, really comfortable, and a lovely view over the Old Town. It's brilliantly located, with a lovely pub just... More

A five minute stroll from the seafront, everything is right at The Laindons. Chris gave us a warm welcome. The rooms are generously-sized, well-appointed and show a commitment to quality and style that is in evidence throughout the whole of the large Georgian house. Breakfast was lovely - good quality ingredients prepared with flair. All in all a relaxed and... More

We occupied the two front rooms on the 2nd floor for just one night mid-week. The rooms are spacious, well decorated and comfortable. The beds provide an excellent night's sleep. The shower is okay rather than fantastic. Breakfast had a good choice, was well presented and tasty. The owner was helpful and charming. Although this is not a sea-front B&B... More

We felt indulged from start to finish by the beautiful interiors, the calm, and the luxurious amenities. Chris was warm and friendly and her breakfasts were extraordinary. Our young son loved it, but it is also a very romantic place. Would return again in a moment!
